Did anyone else get an in-game message about a new version of Warframe being available?
I quit my game, checked for updates (spoiler alert: there's none), and now I can't log back in (Login failed. Check your info.).

This is not normal, you only should get matched when in the mission select AFTER you select a mission maybe you completed a previous mission and didn't leave the squad?(my most hated "feature" in this game)
How do you get the free starter pack? I finished the tutorial and 1st mission which then opens the market

Also, not sure how to turn the game off properly? Can't see a quit game option.
Well that didn't take long. Was playing through the unskippable tutorial and had to go do something else so I paused the switch. I come back to play and it says : login failed. Check your info.
So I tried restarting the game. No dice. And you cannot access any menu or anything at the start screen before pressing A soooooo
Guess that's that. any ideas?

Yes you can still use pc. It's just a copy then both become there own separate thing
Go to warframe site and log into your switch account there is a link in account management to link your twitch account.
Same here, i assume theyre in the middle of deploying a new version. I'll wait a bit. Making the dojo anyway and need to wait a bit
I believe that's the easiest comparison to make, but it still seems to be a very different beast.

Same here, I'm guessing they're fixing something server side. Just before this I got message about there being an update to the game.

I believe you have to finish the entire 'Vor's Prize' questline to get the starter pack.
Oddly enough I've worked on five. Thought the message was originally because I quit the tutorial mid way and it botched my account login somehow haha. Glad that's not the case, really want to give this game a fair shake!
Just finished this quest. Where do I get the starter pack? The one in the market is not free.
Soooo I migrated my account over from PC and it seemed to be fine and ran a mission to check how it ran. Closed the app to do other stuff and now I can't log into the game.
The login box has a default looking warframe (not my one) and it's telling me to accept the privacy policy etc. and when I try to press accept it says "check your info"
Nobody else had this?

Spent most of my lunch hour messing with this. Seems really fun so far, but there looks to be a lot to digest. Also gameplay feels so fast, so I haven't quite figured out stealth mechanics or anything. I spent a ton of time fiddling with aiming sensitivity and stuff, can't quite find a setting a like yet, but I'm sure we'll get there. I did find the FOV option, so I cranked that all the way up which I like better.
I'll probably spend some serious time with this after work to get a better feeling for it all.

It's kind of like if EA had taken Mass Effect 3's multiplayer and added a million different systems and a lot of depth to it.

Whatever is on your account at the the time you choose to move it is copied. So yeah you could spend all the plat possible to buy things. The free pack is available until December 4th, and the other one for $20 is always available. Heck I can still buy it on PC and I'm at 4500 hours.
Handheld warframe is sooo nice. I migrated my account and lost some items (r.i.p Ignis Wraith) but it was so nice doing missions on bed. I noticed that the chat wasnt not working, idk is that only me though...
Also i got kicked out just like you guys but now it says login failed. I may try checking the forums to see whats up.

I have StrictNat and just ignore that warning every time I log in through PC, hasn't really been an issue. DE employs an interesting packet duplicating system to help players get around strictnat.
People make that comparison a lot and I can see where they are coming from with that. It's a game you might want to try if you like looting and shooting with your friends in space.
That's about where the similarities end though. There are a lot of different "classes" to choose from in Warframe, and you can switch between them at will without having to log out of a character and into a different one. Movement is quite different. If you like speed and running into doors Warframe might be for you! It's not as weighty as Destiny movement. Really depends on your preference. What you get as loot is quite different too. Primarily mods, blueprints for warframes and weapon blueprints/pieces (that you'll use to build your equipment) and resources. So unlike Destiny drops with weapons and armor, you won't be able to use what you get right away. Unless you have a lot of money to toss into rushing things a lot of patience is needed while things build. Also, even though there are open world areas you won't find a lot of people in them. Outside of relays and other hub areas, the open world areas will only have 4 people in it and you will all be on the same team.
The stories for both are equally cheesy and melodramatic if you're into that.

Graphics are absolutely insane, Panic Button outdid itself - game looks insane on Switch. While Wolfenstein 2 was very impressive it was so blurry it kind of ruined the magic of Switch games to me a little. This however... I hope the unlocks to grind ratio is healthy enough to sustain my interest. I am currently playing solo so I can take my time exploring instead rushing to the end of the level.

It's probably refering to the new Frame that isn't out yet? Wouldn't read much more into it.
I'm curious how it runs on the Switch but the fact that this is an online only game means I will ever only play this at home, which means I can just as well continue playing it on PC.
