I was on my Switch at lunch and saw something in the info screen regarding a Black Friday sale starting the 23rd. I was offline at the time so I couldn't click on it. Also, it looked like it was all in Japanese since I have a Japanese account my Switch.

Did anyone else see it?

Yeah, I'm seeing that right now. It's specifically for Square-Enix JP games.

Spintires looks goooood.... 40 USD seems kinda high for a game I might give up on pretty quick but I'll probably still end up going for it...

My 128gb card is full already and I've mostly run out of stuff to archive, might have to even archive some games I plan to return to if I want to give warframe a try....... or go for a 256 if I can find one at an ok price....

Wooooooo! Finally copped Wild Guns at a reasonable price! $10 was my sweet spot.

Game came out about 7 months ago at $30, received a permanent price drop to $20 a few weeks ago.

If anyone has Meijer in their area, they have pro controllers for $50 if you happened to be looking for one. Just picked one up earlier today.

It gets a bit smoother once those first couple of missions are done. You'll get the hang of it right away! Welcome aboard the mighty Booty Bandits Space Train! Choo chooooo!

Making headway on the Sega Ages releases.....finally!

2018 in Japan

Cool, so the West can expect this one sometime next year then, got it. /s

It's too bad the inexplicable Phantasy Star delays have totally soured me on getting excited for any release date announcements for the other SEGA AGES games from here on out. But don't get me wrong though; I'll be grabbing every single one, day one. At least M2 is consistently dependable with the quality of the end product, regardless of when that product actually reaches us in the West.

I think I'm starting to get how things work now. Thanks for playing with me, it was great! I very rarely play anything online, so forgive me if I did something wrong, online etiquette is a mystery to me :P

Yeah, me neither. Playing those games with people know is always more fun than with random folk. We did pretty good out there in the Space Booty world!

Reminder that Brawlout's 50% discount on the North American eShop ends tomorrow.
Additionally, Voxel Shot for Nintendo Switch's discount ends tomorrow as well.

I just played Warframe for the first time. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was very fun!

I would look at an online guide. Warframe's UI is a mess and you'll need another source to really figure out who to get upgrades, new warframes, etc. The beginning is also very jerry-rigged together, a remnant from when the game first released back in 2014 and it wasn't as good back then.

Is Brawlout worth buying? Smash is so close and I feel that it will be impossible to go back to Brawlout once it is released. Playing as the indie cameos is probably the biggest draw for me.

Oddly enough, the SKU for Phantasy Star on the US store does NOT match the one Japan has. Same with Thunder Force. (though that was due to the different name between regions) Kinda odd, which makes me wonder if maybe they had to make a regional change and thus delayed the game for that purpose? Seems silly if so.

Will the Sega Ages series have overlap with the upcoming Mega Drive collection or are these discrete entities?

Super Hydorah is excellent but it's been on PS4/Vita for a good while now, and even longer on PC, not to mention the original freeware game. A lot of the people who are going to appreciate a great Gradius homage have probably already played it. I've bought it multiple times at this point.

Ohh, Nintypricer just informed me that Shovel Knight Treasure Trove is on sale finally (-20%), time to bite I guess, never played it.

It's one of the best games this generation, I was amazed about how cleverly the levels are made and how tight the gameplay is.
:) looking forward to finally play it.

btw haven't found any information regarding the download file size of the latest Switch firmware update. I imagine it can't be too big, right? Using my smartphone bandwith via Hotspot right now, finger's crossed that it won't be gone afterwards lol

Has bayonetta ever gotten a discount on the eshop? It's kinda rediculous how Nintendo refuses to discount their games Even centuries after they're released.

I remember a time when discounting used to be restricted to "Greatest Hits" versions. The huge discount thing has only really been a phenomenon of recent times. I remember being astonished when Fallout 3 was carved down to £15 within 6 months of launch, now that is normal.

Then again, I expect this is now the case in order to get games into the hands of people and generating post sale revenue.

GameStop's 3DS/Switch digital code sale is now live:

https://slickdeals.net/f/12307747-d...-ocarina-of-time-3d-3ds-14-more?src=frontpage

NBA 2K19, Starlink, and Sports Party are also discounted, but I'm not seeing a digital version of Just Dance 2019 anywhere on the site as per their ad (page 15):

https://m.gamestop.com/pages/holiday/blackfridayad

Ad also mentions discounted DLC but I'm not seeing any. And their site apparently doesn't allow you to sort digital games by sale price on mobile? And there's no visual indicator that a game is even discounted to begin with? GameStop continues to be trash.

If anyone's interested in these games I'd recommend just waiting until tomorrow to see if the eShop price matches.
