The track from the new trailer isn't from the score, and I'm really cool with that. As much as it was a good song for a trailer, I'd be disappointed if the music in the whole movie carried a similar vibe. December 14 is supposed to be the release date for the soundtrack by Rupert Gregson-Williams and if it's anywhere close to his Wonder Woman in terms of epicness and scale we're all gonna be really happy audio-wise.

I'm so hyped for Aquaman, that last trailer was incredible. This is the kind of DC movie I want to see, hope it starts to shift the tone for better audience reception and more movies.

I do want that trailer song to be his theme, but since it can't be since that's just generic sounds vol. 2 track 7, he needs a theme to fit that Hero they are going for. Batman needs a new theme for sure, Wonder Woman and Superman are set, even though Elfman tried his hardest to destroy it and replace it with his circus music.

I'm avoiding that last trailer but I am fully excited not only for the film itself but the armour plated sharks.

I loooove me some armour plated sharks.

Elfman's Batman theme will always be my favorite for the character, followed by the theme from BTAS.



It's just so fucking good. I get goosebumps just from those opening seconds, and it just gets better and better as it goes on. I can't imagine what it was like being a comics fan sitting in the theater back in 1989 (I was only one year old :P) and experiencing this on the big screen for the first time.

I don't love the movie itself all that much, but damn the score is on another level.

Shirley Walker's Batman theme is my favorite. Meant to evoke the Burton theme, but less bombastic and more gothic. Especially the Mask of the Phantasm version.

Assuming Matt Reeves doesn't bounce, have to imagine Michael Giacchino will be doing the next Batman theme. I have mixed feelings about that. But his work with Reeves has been killer.

Riddle me this.

With a title like that, which heavily features Harley Quinn by name, WB can spin of Birds off Prey into their own films (with a sequel featuring Catwoman or whoever??) leaving Margot Robbie to star in her own titular films and future Suicide Squad films.

Does this mean that the studio wouldn't try to spin Black Canary into her own solo adventure if she proved popular enough instead keeping her within the potential BOP franchise?

You can sort of picture how the posters/logos will be. "Birds of Prey" in the standard font, with the rest spray painted on or something.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)? Kinda cool. I can see the posters in my head.

That said, I'm super excited for the movie. A fellow Filipino is in it as Cassandra, and we will get kick-ass action. Harley Quinn and Ewan Black Mask. Everything seems good on paper.

I'm honestly hyped for all the upcoming DC movies.

The new title makes me 100% sure that the movie is going to do very well at the box office.

The title conveys that WB have very strong confidence in the movie.

That Aquaman trailer music is brilliant.

No chance it'll be Aquaman's theme going forward?

I really hope DC keep to giving each hero their own distinct theme.

Wonder Woman, Superman and Lex themes are all top tier. Batman too but Leo Sagittarius is right in saying it suits the cynical Batman more than a youthful one.

Edit - the scene where Orm (?) approaches Manta on his boat - phew. Visuals are nuts.
