Just noticed the dude is carrying a Bow too, that's not how it works.
There has been talks about an Uncharted movie for ages. Not sure what the status is.

I remember when I first saw the trailer to Ong Bak and then the movie itself I was proper blown away.
Not an MH fan, (the gameplay loop simply isn't for me) nor am I a fan of any RE movie after the first, but I might give this a chance.
I don't mind soldiers being in it if the setup transports them to the MH world though.
I'm curious about this.

I would bet the plot revolves around some people from the normal world being transported to the MH World, because that's the kinda of a plot a movie of this production value would have;
It does, there's a plot summary in the other thread (which I can't find), but they're the UN or some shit and have to get back home
The synopsis is out there, and it's basically that a UN squad of soldiers ends up getting sucked through a portal to another world - the MH world - and once there, they team up with the native hunters to close the portals to stop the monsters from getting through to earth. It's a pretty standard solution for having audience surrogate characters, I guess.

The last time a live action video game was mostly on point was the first silent hill movie and that was still pretty dumb, so I wonder how much that will happen with MH.
