hm, so it is possible MK64 sold less than #10 but ranked higher because N64 games were very expensive?

That would be the case here, yes. I'm also 99% certain it should be Super Mario 64. Not Mario Kart 64

It's also why Wii Fit and Fit Plus are so high.

Nintendo is a beast. Any of those Nintendo doomed posts over the years are even funnier now.

Suprised not a single ps exclusive could sneak in there

Lol What was the point of this post? Besides Zhuge just said this was off of $ sales. What do you think would happen if one of your highest selling evergreen titles included a $100 board accessory? There's no doubt in my mind there are many more non-Nintendo exclusives that sold as much as some of those titles on that list, but didn't have the same $ amount due to price cuts, bundles, etc.

Kart?
weird.

Thought it'd be Goldeneye since it's the US, or Mario 64 since that's the best selling overall game.

Mario 64 must've done a lot better than Kart in other territories then.

Brawl is right there.
Odd one out as in Wii and Mario franchises.

English isn't my first language, probably didn't use proper grammar

Exclusive software . GTA V was multiplatform from the start. San Andreas was PS2 exclusive for sometime so I gues that is why it's counted on that list (probably not included on the NPD list though as I would imagine San Andreas and Vice City were over 7 million alone on PS2)
Oh christ, that was major brain fart haha. Forgot we were looking at exclusives. I should go to bed...

ZhugeEX Since NPD is tracking both Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe together, I am guessing that it should be the next title to enter the top 10 ?

My point? Pretty obvious. Nintendo is a beast. Why so offended?

Holy shit.. I am now kinda curious to see a bigger list and what Non-Nintendo games show up.

I am guessing Halo,Gow,Final Fantasy,Uncharted,Gran Tursimo,Sonic,Tekken3

Well GT 3 is over 7 million shipped in NA and if I remember right multiple Halo games are at least over 6 million in US alone (some NPD leak from the past) but as this is revenue list it's hard to say where those would land. Big reason why Nintendo dominates these revenue lists is how well their games sell at full price for years.

Nintendo sold more than 373 million units of first-party games on Wii.
That's a lot!
More or less they matched the entire software sales on consoles like SNES, 3DS and GBA.
Historically Nintendo almost always sell at least 30% of the entire software sales on their own consoles.

I think the switch has a chance at topping that list when all is said and done (total SW I mean).

- EDITED: Yeah, brain's mush. Going to stop now -

Thanks for the assist ZhugeEX.

Just for that, the next 5 (6, really) on the list would be X360 Halo 4, X360 Halo: Reach, X360 Halo 3, Wii Super Mario Galaxy, N64 GoldenEye 007 and then N64 Mario Kart 64.

My brain broke at some point making the initial chart. It happens. It's data release week. Looking at lots of spreadsheets.

This has to be a lie. I hate the market so much.

NDS is impressive since it is at a disadvantage in a revenue chart. 2 games on the top 10 is an incredible performance.

It is not fair when the TRUE best selling game of all time..Wii Sports...is not even on the list. I know it was a packed-in game but that game for many is the reason why they bought a Wii. Nintendo games are truly the definition of mass appeal blockbuster...regardless of scores. Just not fair.

Seems like one of those things that you wouldn't expect but is super obvious when you think about it.

What the heck?! I'm obviously not paying close attention to sales! Halo was that big?

Halo 3, Halo Reach, and Halo 4 managed to be next, but Halo 5 no where to be found...telling of how much that franchise has dropped.

Actually surprised that Halo 4 is ahead of 3 (and to lesser extent Reach). It launched during late gen and still had ''only'' similar launch to Halo 3 in US so always thought it had way worse legs (and quicker price promotions) than Halo 3. Well you always learn something new lol.

I hate the fact that Halo 4 is higher than Halo 3 and Reach.

It is in terms of revenue, it might not be in terms of sales. I think part of that success might also be down to greater marketing, more marketable and cutting edge graphics, plus goodwill garnered from Halo 3.

Yep. And it makes complete sense that Microsoft tried to fix the master collection for years after its release. Hopefully Ms can "fix" halo. I tried halo 5 on game pass and it wasn't for me. No master chief. What the heck were they thinking?

Looking at games on the no 10, I feel like the list won't change for quite some time.

MatPiscatella Is there big difference in revenue between Wii Sports Resort and Halo 4?

I skipped the 360 which is probably why I'm clueless. Loved halo 1 and 2, but they never felt hugely popular

Lol. Halo sold close to 6m copies and Halo 2 close to 9m. They were massive back then too, it's just that you're Braaier and when it comes to these sorts of discussions it's no surprise you're off base or uninformed :p
