In seasons? No.

Do you do any upgrade rare or reroll legendary, or just focus on blood shards?

yeah i do that for stuff like furnace. i craft level 70 two handed mighty weapons (i think) to get furnace. I think that's the weapon i use. it's been a while. I forgot about that. sorry man. there are some items (usually amulets or weapons) that are tougher to get so i upgrade rares. good call.

that's another reason you want a build that can do high level torment rifts in under 2 minutes. just blast through, kill the boss, loot and repeat. some builds can do rifts in under a minute. At some point i had a second character blasting through normal rifts just to get materials for my "primary" character. It can kind get kinda meta.

for upgrade materials you wanna join a public bounty lobby. each player does their own bounty. don't team up. just solo the bounty. you can collect bounty rewards faster this way.

This sucks. Running rifts with four randoms having a blast. Have a puzzle ring, the second time I've ever used one, and think it'd be rad to pop it in the cube. So we all run in and clearing the path to Greed, killing all the goblins, loot everywhere aaaand...

Game crashes.

Log back in, no portal. Pretty fucking irritating. Second puzzle ring I'd ever got and had been saving it for when I hit 70 on my DH. Figured I'd share some fun and now just been pissed away.

First crash I've had too, so it picked a fine fucking moment to do so lol.

I just had my first crash too right after getting a set item :(( ffs

One thing it took me a while to find out about on the console version, when assigning Paragon points don't use the Dpad to increase them, use the analog stick. The analog works much much faster.

yes, its super slow with the d-pad and AT FIRT tis the same with the analog but today I tried holding it after a second it goes super fast.

Has there been a change in seasons now requiring Nintendo online subscription, specifically playing co-op with someone local? Now when my wife tries to join my local co-op game it prompts her to purchase Nintendo online and if she cancels, it then won't let her join. This was working fine previously...

Edit: If she starts the game and has me join it, then it works. Bizarre that it has changed, although maybe it's just a bug.

After mowing down the "uber bosses" (heh) to craft Hellfire Amulets, I've finally reached the point where I'm satisfied where my Crusader is (for now) and I'm switching to doing the story mode with a new Demon Hunter... ;3

Is your game set to public or to allow friends to join? Are you on a NSO family plan?

Same thing happened to me and my wife. I changed the network setting to Local and then she was able to join.

I'm still just going through the campaign but my Wizard is so powerful and fun right now! Just upped the difficulty to Torment in the middle of Act 3 with my level ~62 character.

Mainly because I got a legendary Etched Sigil, so I'm just raining down meteors every second while channeling a super powerful Disintegrate.

Just wanted to be sure - there's really no point to Gold in the game much at all, right?

Well gold is useful when running Greater Rifts to get an extra level to allocate into gems. And gold is used with enchants, so it definitely has uses. But you'll usually acquire it pretty easily, especially if you're lucky to get a portal to the vault either from a goblin or puzzle ring in the cube. So don't worry about vendoring gear for gold, if that's what you're asking.

Should I give gear to the blacksmith for salvage? Is that the better option than selling it?

Yeah, I'm doing T10 fine with it, just need to watch out not to get hit.

I have the full-on kit, including Jesseth and all the other goodies, like the ring that pops out 2 mages, the necklace that doubles the duration of the clone, tasker and theo, and everything else. I even have a Jesseth scythe that's ancient quality with great rolls (3000+ DPS rating).

I'm doing GRifts at 70 just fine. The problem is when I run into ranged heavy monsters. Then I die, a lot.

Fun set, but I think I'll move on to a new character/build.

Finally got my Akkhan neck last night. Condemn is stupid damage, but fun. Trying to gear out my witch doctor but cannot get anything but zunnasa to drop and that doesn't seem fun

Yes. You'll have more than enough money later on. Btw, pick up common items and salvage. The lower rarity (white) items should be prioritized over golden ones. You will thank me for this once you start hunting for better gear/rolls.

Pick up whatever you come across, no need to prioritize. You can always convert what you have excess of for what you need via the cube.

Is the Necromancer worth buying? Games on sale at the moment and a friend keeps asking me to get it. It'll cost me £5 extra.

T5 is my wall for now on my WD with no set (it a little slow but not too bad, tried T6 and it was way too slow, I wasnt dying but shit wasnt dying either). In, fact, no items really, except for a sick ancient 2h sword with like 4.2k damage which is helping the dps. I have the off hand for the build I want (helltooth gargantuan) and nothing else. But hey, that is a lot higher than I could do with my Crusader pre-set so thats neat. Now the grind for the items begins.

Apparently the game has some issues (crash) with the internet connection suddenly cutting out.
I've played maybe 20h and it crashed two times by now. always when the internet connection broke (which can happen here sometimes).
The strange thing is that it doesn't crash tradtionally. I can hop through the game's menu fine and I even can suspend the game. It just won't let me into the main game.

Another thing which brings my piss to a boil since the PS3 version is the ingame pronunciation of the word "Belial". It's so wrong, it hurts my ears.

No problem. This is the Switch port OT, so I wasn't sure if you were aware of that. Anyways, enjoy the Necro!
Yeah, I was going to ask in the other thread, but it's super dead compared to this and I remembered it's included with the Switch version, so probably best to ask here. Kinda extra glad I did, as I noticed the version on sale is the same edition as this one, so the Necromancer was already included anyway.
The stupid UK PSN store lists the Necromancer DLC as a add-on for the Eternal Collection Edition, would have probably just bought both if I didn't realize after my 2nd comment, so double thanks!

I'm just trying to clear bounties now so I can get to 50 chests to pop.

I can tell that the set dungeon challenge for the Necromancer with the season challenge set is going to be a pain in the ass.

Chicken. I can't hit or throw you, and attaching explosives to you doesn't work either. You cluck at the most inopportune moments. You can't even turn invincible and flood the screen with your friends. So stop following me around. You're a disappointment, chicken. Floating Flaming Skull is where it's at now.
In other words, I found my first pet-dropping goblin and am now the proud owner of Blaze. Yay.

I've been habitually throwing all legendaries I don't equip myself at the cube, resources permitting. Even yesterday evening when I was half asleep. Now my one and only Yang's recurve bow is gone.
(insert choice words here)

It was a good one, too. Which makes this idiocy hurt twice as much.
Oh well, back to spinning chakrams like the chump I am.

Still five or so items left on the fourth seasonal unlock list. All of them require Torment 4... Sounds like a pain. I recently switched to T1 in the hope I would be showered in riches, recipes and new set items, but so far all that's happening is that bosses take longer to kill and that the screen gets filled with armies of quickly exploding minions no matter where I go. If this repeats for T2-T4, it's gonna be a bummer. I actually want the effects to be turned down a notch so I can once more see where I'm going and what I'm doing. Right now I walk a few steps, hold R1 until the explosions stop, then repeat. If I continue walking I often find myself stuck on some geometry until the light show stops, anyway. Downside to playing on the go instead of on a properly calibrated and lighted screen, I guess.

I ran a Necromancer in season 15, and I like being the pet overlord. I'll probably run a Witch Doctor in season 16.

That said, the Crusader looks like it will get beefed up significantly in season 16.

Nah, they are only bringing the stragglers up to the current levels. As you can see, Akkhan had zero buffs, since it already was so dominant.

how long do Diablo PTR last for, and also how long ago did Season 15 start?

Basically, when can we expect season 16? I still want to get my Helltooth Gargantuan on, but after that I might just take that break I was going to after I was "done" with my Condemn Crusader.

I'm finding it difficult to solo as a demon Hunter. Getting overwhelmed a lot.

On the other hand my Wizard decimates anything that crosses her path.

Hey quick question, I'm trying to run through my season journey IV requirements with my monk and I noticed since I reached level 70 that everything is taking forever to kill on torment 2 or is killing me way more often. I'm level 30~ paragon actuellement. Is there a way to get better drops/ faster levels? All the current drops I'm getting in bounties/ rifts aren't any stronger than what I have currently equipped.

I've been having a relaxed campaign playthrough on Master kind of just chipping away every day and not really obsessing over equipment and then I fought Belial. Definitely not a relaxed fight on Master lol.

I feel I have hit a wall.

Barbarian, Level 70, Paragon 53

I finished all the Acts, I have been doing many regular rifts and greater rifts and doing a ton of the bounties and challenges. However, at this time the loot has dried up heavily, a couple hours can go by with absolutely nothing dropping that is useful. Is this normal?

I have upped the difficulty to Torment II and then III and that still had no effect on drops. I have tons of plans but none of the materials needed to make some of the higher level stuff (where do I get those butterflies and such - I salvage everything I get too), and the items I can make end up worse than what I have equipped, and this is from the vendor being fully upgraded and the plans being green. What exactly am I doing wrong? Should I increase the difficulty even more? The issue with that is that I cannot finish a Greater Rift within the timeframe (I am always over by 1-2 minutes after I kill the boss), so increasing difficulty will ensure I definitely don't finish them on time and therefore less loot. I started my character just as a normal one and not seasonal so did that fuck me over? It is really stupid that you can't bring your fresh character into a season, I just wanted to learn the game first and didn't even know wtf a season was to start.

Suggestions? Is this just normal drop rates at this point in the endgame?

Put some pieces on my Necro last night that should trivialize the next couple Torment tiers. Pet stuff is aces when soloing/duoing.

look up Barbarian builds, so you know which build you like and want to use. That makes it easier to hunt what you want exactly. So you do some normal rifts mostly for death breath farming (and hopefully some loots), so you can use the death breath on the cube to pinpoint the items you want by turning rares into legendaries. Say your build needs a 1h sword, or 2h sword, you turn a rare 1h sword into legendary and hope for the best. Same for the other slots. Or if you get 2 pieces of a set you want, but its two heads, you can use the cube to turn the head into a different set piece you might need. Meanwhile you also run greater rifts to level up your legendary gems and get bloods, to spend on the vendor lady, again targeting the specific slots you need, and pray to RNGesus.
