Think I'll stick to windowed+borderless gaming, I can't get the game to display at my native resolution with fullscreen, it's always in 1080p.
Playing at 1440p with 2xSMAA in game settings. Why is the game so jaggy?

The fact that it was, well, developed to be played with a gamepad. The gunplay + movement/camera are very controller-centered and I'd say playing it with a gamepad is the most enjoyable way, even if they release a fix for m+kb.
Finally unlocked air dash. Took me about 3.5 hours. Get it around the end of what seems like the first act (get it around the intro of the 2nd "faction")
I generally concur with this statement too, the design team spent so long on the controller controls. The game is built around a gamepad
A dev states better with game pad and u disagree. UnbelievableAny game with shooting and high mobility is better with a mouse, unless the mouse input is broken like it is in this game or you're totally not used to mkb. It doesn't matter how much time was spent tweaking the controls to fit a gamepad. That actually doesn't surprise me because it seems very hard to make it work properly.
Destiny 2 was made for gamepads, yet it's way more fun with mkb. The same goes for Titanfall.
People say that a lot about this or that game but then it turns out said games play fine with keyboard and mouse when the controls are implemented competently. I don't think Sunset Overdrive is any different since, from my time with the game thus far, the only control issue here is that the camera sensitivity is wonky making aiming more difficult than it should be or like it is in other games.
Whah their, buddy! That's a take I absolutely disagree with - m+kb imo take away what makes Destiny 2's shooting and movement special and impactful.Destiny 2 was made for gamepads, yet it's way more fun with mkb.
No disrespect to jstevenson intended but a developer's word isn't necessarily gospel; there are plenty of third-person action games like this that work perfectly with keyboard and mouse that disprove the idea that it must play best with gamepad. And again, the only thing wrong with the controls here is the mouse sensitivity.A dev states better with game pad and u disagree. Unbelievable
So long as you know better than the devs!No disrespect to jstevenson intended but a developer's word isn't necessarily gospel; there are plenty of third-person action games like this that work perfectly with keyboard and mouse that disprove the idea that it must play best with gamepad. Do you know how many times I've had to change/mod a game to make it more fun or have it look better? Devs aren't always right.A dev states better with game pad and u disagree. Unbelievable
Shooting is fine on a mkb. The shooting argument is something I've heard for every shooter when it comes to controller vs mkb. The movement is the reason why I think it's a lot more fun on PC. It's so much smoother and natural with a mouse. There's a lot more you can pull off.Whah their, buddy! That's a take I absolutely disagree with - m+kb imo take away what makes Destiny 2's shooting and movement special and impactful.
You say it like the game isn't out on PC and people are just making assumptions. Im currently playing it with kb+m and other than the mouse aiming the game controls fine
I know when there's something not working right with mouse input, yes. And again, from other examples where the mouse input is working right.
Exactly. It's just that one issue away from playing fine on keyboard and mouse. You say it like the game isn't out on PC and people are just making assumptions. Im currently playing it with kb+m and other than the mouse aiming the game controls fine

It's a PC game therefore it should have decent m+k controls.
MK/B has an issue that MSFT/Blind Squirrel are fixing right now which hopefully will make it better.
I'm just saying the entire game was designed around controller input.

But in terms of the actual creation of the game, world, traversal, design, it was all done on controller. If you like MK/B better, cool!

So... No MP at all in the PC release ? Do we know why they got rid of it if so ?
Also, how good is this compared to the console version ?
Alright, I'll grab the game later today then. Thanks for the answer!Asator i played it on a 2500k at 4GHZ without issues. i got some framedrops during cutscenes for some reason but thats about it.
Anyone else have issues getting this game to run? I can never get past preparing to launch.
Multiple people have the stuttering issues including me so I doubt it's your SSD drive. I think it's just has real poor framepacing just like it did in the Xbox version.
I disabled Vsync and only went for the 60fps cap in-game and it seems to be better than before but still not perfect.
For me, what makes this game great is that is superfun just to wander around killing enemies, trying to do so in a stylish way. Thanks for bringing this game to PC.I'm just saying the entire game was designed around controller input.

If you have to explain "cringe" to someone, use this game as the perfect example...humor and characters are painfully horrible.
