Trump criticizes Navy Seals for not taking out Bin Laden sooner

You can't be that stupid, however you can be that racist and that's why a lot of veterans still support him.
Classic Trump Whataboutism. What about Hilary, What about Obama, wouldn't it be nice if we were friends with Russia, wouldn't it be nice if Bin Laden had been killed sooner, wouldn't it be nice...
Too bad a lot of the military will still support him because their racism/bigotry is more important.
Good lord, the way he talks to Chris Wallace about how he knew his father in that second video is shockingly rude and infantile.
I mean, yes, he's said and done monstrously worse things to other reporters just in the last week alone and it's not even in the Top 10 awful things he says in the interview. But seeing him treat even a Fox News reporter like that is shocking. He has to insult anyone who even remotely criticizes him, even if they're on his goddamn propaganda network. What a fucking baby.
You would think that Wallace would turn around tell people at the network to stop treating him like a god, but they don't care about their own reporters being insulted like that. The attention and ratings are too good to turn against Trump. It's sick.

You know that famous LBJ quote about whites emptying their pockets as long as they're coddled into enforcing their privilege? Well, it goes beyond money. They'll not only empty their pockets, but they'll accept being spat and shit on as long as the powers that be allow them in turn to do it to those they hate (black people, LGBT, minority immigrants, etc.).

The spin they're going to put on this one is pretty clear:
1. About the specific navy seal, he's just stating the facts about his political views.
2. About the getting bin laden sooner, that he's not criticizing the seals. He's criticizing Obama and Bush for not getting him sooner. (As in, "If i was in charge we would have gotten much sooner.")
This, unfortunately, won't damage him much politically. Hell, the McCain stuff didn't either. :-(

It'll never occur to him to be critical of Bush Jr. for that until Bush Jr. says something critical of him. He lets entire US territories suffer natural disasters without sufficient aid because they didn't vote for him, so of course he'd throw a soldier under the bus.

True but it's easy to twist his statement into saying if someone other than Obama was president maybe they would have gotten bin laden sooner. And that's what they will do.
I don't think they really have much room for that considering OBL died pretty early in Obama's term whereas Bush spent his entire presidency trying to kill him and failing.
But... the Navy SEALs are basically a hit squad. They take out someone at the time you give them, at the location you give them. You'd be complaining about the CIA or Military Intelligence not finding him sooner, that's not even their job.

Well, Trump avoided Vietnam draft multiple times because he was rich, unlike some of his colleagues. As the commander of the army I think he shouldn't disapprove his own too much. Little bit of respect for people who get into bad situations for the sake of their own nation would be nice. But I like to avoid getting into politics too much though.
I was thinking this might be the case. Like they're having some moral dilemma about being shitted on by the President they voted in, but at the same time, they're all about him bringing back white supremacy.
