Is [Ezra Miller] worried that his solo Flash film may never hit the ground running? Sure—but the fate of a Hollywood franchise seems unlikely to ever cause him stress. "Nothing is ever certain in this world, but as certain as things get, we're making a fucking crazy-dope Flash movie," he promises. "It's one of my great life dreams, and just the fact that we're on the way—anyone who knows about Barry Allen knows he may arrive late, very late, but once he gets there, it's all solved. We have to trust."

And what of all those swirling rumors about the film universe potentially switching up members of its cast, namely Henry Cavill's Superman and Ben Affleck's Batman? "When there are these leaks of information—or however people get stuff—it's pretty unreliable," Miller replies cagily.

Man, I really wish we'd get a "The Batman" info dump soon. Just end all the speculation and give us the actors and release date.

Thinking about Reeves' Batman, aside from the wait for a new Batman movie, it's shaping up to be a four year gap between Matt Reeves movies.

At least Nolan had Prestige and Inception between his. And Patty Jenkins has her mystery show with Pine between the two WWs.

While I'd like to see Ezra Miller given a chance to headline his own Flash film I'd still put my money on WB replacing him too just as they have with Affleck and Cavill.

The studio is slowly erasing every part of the 'SnyderVerse' they can and Miller looks to be the next piece to go .

I can see them sticking with him, if nothing else, seems to be an actor they enjoy working with. And imagine wanna keep him happy with other franchises especially after Fantastic Beasts 2, but at the same time imagine having 2 major franchises for them makes his scheduling a pain

Whatever happens happens. It's no big deal in the scheme of things.

I'd really like to see Ezra continue as Flash. But if not, there's hardly been time to appreciate him in the role. It'd be like looking back on Ed Norton as Bruce Banner/Hulk.

Was just at target and all the Aquaman merch was out in full display. They looked cool, especially the toy shark that had armor and moved back and forth.

In truth I don't hate Justice League or anything. It doesn't register on an emotional level, one way or another. I feel the same about it as I do with Jumanji 2, Jurassic World, Age of Ultron, etc. They're fine. They...exist. I have no interest in ever revisiting those milquetoast movies. I guess what makes JL standout among them is how patched together it feels.

Like, Solo had a similarly troubled production and you can see the edges in the released movie, but it's not as blatant as in JL.

I've seen JL maybe 3 times now since it was in theaters. Every time I nearly shut it off when it reaches the Martha/Lois scene at the Planet. That entire scene feels like something a 9 year old would have thought was something worth adding. It's really really bad. The whole thing about the lady on the news screaming about her husband being abducted, the guy trying to figure out Lois' source, to the Lois is a sex hungry maniac joke. Just awful in every possible way. Even Martha's nonsense about the craziness from people being a response to Superman's death had no basis in continuity. You could have woken me up from a drunken stupor and I still would have written something more sane.

Justice League is still a really enjoyable movie. Sure, I get why people don't like how it didn't follow as a sequel to BvS or carries the same tone...but it's still an action-adventure team movie in the vein of the Avengers and, in many ways, did it better. Hopefully if there's any lessons WB learned from the whole fiasco, is that people are hyper-aware of what they want the film coming to be considering the news and articles of behind-the-scenes productions coming from all sorts of media sites.

Man that's so early. And they aren't moving the release date still??? Maybe they will do it as a publicity stunt once the positive word of mouth comes out?

Embargo up so early and the international release has me somewhat optimistic for super early fan screenings. Well before these Amazon screenings.

On the downside, probably won't get to see the Godzilla KotM and Detective Pikachu trailers on the big screen at those.

If we're confessing... I enjoyed Justice League. I was on holiday in Thailand so I watched it there and just makes me remember my trip there. I would have liked a bigger, more epic movie though.

I kinda liked Justice League...but it never truly felt like an event...just went through the motions I guess...

On other potential stuff in 2018, with BoP filming in January, I wonder if we'll see the looks before then.

Does DCU talk go here? Because Titans & Young Justice are so damn good.

1st, Wan is a top tier guy
It's for the movies. All the TV shows have their own OT's and you wouldn't wanna spoil people.

But yeah, Titans is suprisingly decent.

The clips I saw of the latest Titans episode with Jason Todd were great. He's such a little shit. Seems Young Justice is coming back in January, so I might sub then and blow through Titans when it's all out.

You guys are missing out, but no doubt the value of the service will only continue as they stack shows up.

If Titans is the quality we can expect from the rest of the live action shows, we are all in for a huge treat.

Justice League was a great movie. It made me smile and laugh. I agree that it could have been better and more epic.

It seemee reactionary from the reception BvS got. I loved BvS and till today I'm still shocked and surprised at the reception, but whatever.

On to the future of DC movies.

The handwringing and worry over Aquaman from everybody is almost parody at this point. Test screening results all say it's good. The recent screenings of the completed film all say it's good. The trailers look good. The director has a good track record.

At what point do people just finally accept that the movie is more than likely good and let themselves be excited for it? And why even bother following news from early screenings and what not if you're just going to dismiss them as fanboys getting worked and not genuine opinions?

Idk. People are just being super weird about this movie.

But DC!

I want this movie to bank so hard, it would be better than the venom salt that's happening.
