Excellent. I have no need for the physical, guess it's time to start looking for a code now that they're redeeming correctly.

All the DVD extras other than Shades of the Bat are ported over. and there is a new 100min doco called Hear of BatmanAre the DVD extras on this set? Or are there new features?
For its time, the DVD extras were quite well done.

That would make a good little doco of either the voice artists or the score for the series.I know you meant Heart but I would also appreciate that one.
Hear of Batman. Yeah, I know a little.....
That's dark deco my man and it is one of the most brilliant things about the show.

In designing the series, creators Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski emulated the Burton films' "otherworldly timelessness", incorporating period features such as black-and-white title cards, police airships (although no such thing existed, Timm has stated that he found it to fit the show's style) and a "vintage" color scheme with film noir flourishes.[12]
The visual style of the series was based on the artwork of Radomski, and the gothic look of Gotham City was derived from his initial designs.[13] In addition, Radomski issued a standing order to the animation department that all backgrounds be painted using light colors on black paper (as opposed to the industry standard of dark colors on white paper).[12] The distinctive visual combination of "noir" imagery and Art Deco design was dubbed "Dark Deco" by the producers.[14]

Joker's Favor really has no right being as good as it turns out.
Also Feat of Clay is still so good. Though is Matt and his friend a couple?

Watched a few episodes the last couple of days. got upto my username.
Forgot how "bad" Underdwellers was. but still better than most shows bad episodes are.
So fine - exploring joker through the lens of a common man is such a wonderful idea.
Yeah I remember Oliver Sava ripping on the episode pretty hard. (Btw if anyone wasn't aware he did a great review of every episode of this series a few years ago and they were all pretty on the mark). Certainly the first few eps of BTAS are shaky - highs are high and lows are low.
Pretty Poison is a well done episode ruined by the fact that you know its Poison Ivy a mile away. Solid introduction to Ivy though, and a great episode to build on Harvey Dent before his transformation.
It's a pretty good episode, but "House and Garden" is the definitive Poison Ivy episode.
That shit still gives me the creeps.

It's not a terrible episode. Just a bit plain. Really cool use of an underused villain group though. They really dug into the comic archives for them.
Penguin never really got any good episodes. Closest was "Blind as a Bat" but even that was kind of bland. Great animation though."I've Got Batman In My Basement" is so bad. Worse than I remembered.
It simply has to be the worst episode in the whole series. I can't think of anything worse.
If it's a Penguin episode or stars a child it's pretty much a given it'll be one of the (very few) bad ones.
Edit: Why the fuck didn't the kid just tell his mom Batman was there? Stupid asshole, those bigger kids were right to bully his obnoxious ass.
