"Your Lyft driver is 93 minutes away" eat a fucking dick

I scheduled a Lyft pickup at 12PM or so, so the driver can take me home from work at around 9. Fee is like $9 for what amounts to a 10 minute or so drive which is cool. High time for me to go home and I get the message in the OP. This driver is all the way in fucking Columbus GA coming to pick me up for a $10 drive that I gotta wait for an hour and a half

I cancelled and got another driver within the span of 5 minutes, free. But now I'm paying more due to the rate changing as the day passes. Its not the money I'm mad about but the fact that I probably got to wait another day to air a grievance/complaint out with Lyft about the poor driver curation (because Lyft doesn't have a traditional call line for customer service and I got put in a ticket for a response.)

So yeah I'm big mad rn

Never had that problem but I've had a few times where I'll get an uber driver that purposely goes the wrong way and parks a mile away hoping I'll cancel. They eventually text me after 15 minutes saying I should cancel but I dont want to spend the $5 on a cancel so ask them to pick me up or cancel. They stop responding to text and call. One time I just called into work saying I'm gonna work from home so I could wait out the dude trying to do this to me. Feel like that's the most pretty I've ever been.

thats pretty damn ridiculous.

one time in San Diego i ordered a uber select or whatever it is for a larger vehicle, to take us to the airport, specifically needing a larger vehicle because we had both kids and car seats. Dude shows up in a like a toyota yaris or some shit and we can't fit our luggage or the car seats. I cancelled and uber is all like yo dawg you owe this guy money cause he showed up. Fuck that.
