Please avoid derailing this thread with generalizations on emulation. This thread is to discuss the progress being made on this current emulator and nothing more.

By now most people should be aware that Pokemon Let's Go has leaked about 2/3 days ago. Earlier today one of the devs of Yuzu made some progress on getting Let's Go Eevee to work with Yuzu.

Apparently the PR is rather hacky so it hasn't been merged yet but give it a few days and it should be on canary available for everyone.

On top of that Mario Odyssey is now more playable than ever, it just recently (couple of days) got a speed boost, and the game is 100% completable.



The emulator is progressing at an insane speed and with Smash Bros. Ultimate coming out next month i can imagine their Patreon is gonna explode and progress is gonna become even faster.

I know its in red but this game aint even out for the Switch yet and yall discussing emulation. Thats bogus

That's some incredible work that they've done in such a short period of time. Curious how Yuzu is from a foundational perspective in terms of accuracy, but I understand that they're probably aiming for making big titles playable first.

The game has released early in a few countries as far as i am aware and the game had leaked a few days, so it was gonna be tested on the emulator by people working on it regardless.

The message on top was added by me to make sure the thread wouldn't derail.

Isn't talking about the ramifications of this emulator and it's "wow so fast" part of discussion?
Otherwise all you'll get is "wow, so fast".

Showcasing the progress of the emulator with a pirated copy of a game that's not out yet is super yikes

I might be misunderstanding but how is it conflicting ?

A PR is being worked to make the game work, but cause the code to make it work is quite hacky and patchy, the guy working on it is not gonna merge it until he makes sure the code is stable. The fact that in a few days it should be on Canary has nothing to do with people playing the game or the game being out.

As much as I'm into emulation and supportive of it, I don't really feel comfortable with this particular thing. The game isn't even out yet in parts of the world.
