Darksiders 3: Fury's Apocalypse Trailer

I played the first 2 games and enjoyed them, but yeah I forget this game is a thing as well and I have negative hype for it.
Hopefully it does well because I want the new THQ to do well.
I liked the Darksiders games, but I don't imagine this game selling that well. I'm surprised it's even getting made.
So it's not just me.
They'll be drowning in monies whether this game sells or not.
Definitely has that air to it, even if it's a solid game. I'm hoping for the best but realistically I'm worried.
This trailer's definitely the first time I've felt a little bit hopeful for this game. Seeing an actual variety of locations and some brief hints at plot. Still tho, I was all over the first two and I'll be waiting well after reviews and a couple months of patches before I make a call this time.

I'm very interested in this game but this is the first trailer that made me think the lines were quite weak.
You'll be fine going straight into 3. The story is fairly barebones and I'm sure they'll recap the important stuff.
Agreed, it's still a little rough, they're not really going for that cinematic feel that most trailers do. But I like the improvements I'm seeing and it looks a lot more polished.
Also the first three games happen concurrently so you can play them in any order. Unless there's a suprise at the end of 3 I guess.
I was hoping to see Death teased in the trailer. Oh well, I'll still buy this. Looks real fun and I'm a huge fan of this series.

I haven't followed this game too closely but I expect the plot of the first game will be the foundation while the second game felt like a side-story.
Actually reading more into this game and the details are pretty interesting. Souls-like, has major metroidvania influences, and apparently you can approach this game in any order, all 7 sins can be tackled whenever you choose and dirriculty adjusts accordingly. Hopefully it all comes together in the end.
If you're a massive fan of the series I don't see why not, just give the reviews a look first.
I'm totally expecting this to be the case at this point so if it happens it's ok but if they surprise me it's even better.
I wonder what Fury's transformation will be? War was basically a big fire demon and death had his classic reaper form.
