I don't know how to measure the look of something so subjective with a quantitative scale. Must be an USA thing.

I know that many woman like my face and my style. One of them is my wife. I think I could look really good with 20 kg less.

In all seriousness, no. Not in any aspect. I truly hate my appearance and if I had to use the silly x/10 rating, I would give myself a 3 at best, on a good day. Not once in my entire life has anyone casually mentioned to me that I'm attractive or good looking in any way, not even a "you look handsome/good" from family members on the rare occasions we would dress up for something fancy like a wedding.

If I was forced to use a single word to describe myself it would be "repulsive". For everyone else here, please remember that we're our own harshest critics and that you're probably seen as so much better than you believe yourself to be.

My wife says im handsome. But i think shes required to say that. But if she believed it than it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks on the matter

Nope, not really, sometimes, not at all (I wish)

It makes me feel a certain way (mostly negative) but I'm working through that with a therapist :)

I'm wondering because I feel like it must be interesting to be a model or actor and pursue using your looks as a career. To be that confident.

I take selfies but I wouldn't model

I think you should! There are various types of modeling out there. I think you are very handsome but you already knew that.

You quantify it based on your own subjective opinion.

I actually think I look god awful in photos lol. Like I can look at myself in the mirror when I'm feeling good about myself and be like, "damn, I guess I am pretty good-looking" but then as soon as I take a selfie shot and look at it, I'm like, "oh god, what is THAT, delete that shit." Finding a good profile pic for my social media accounts is always an experience.
Selfie cameras tend to have wide angle focal lengths, which exaggerate and distort certain facial features depending on where they are in the frame. If you wanna look good in photos avoid wide angle lenses!

This gif always comes to mind:

Nope, but with time and effort I'm at least coming to realize I'm average looking and not just a disgusting human. Low self-esteem sucks.

I think I'm a 3/10. I think I need a better haircut, lose a few pounds and dress better and maybe I could be a 4.5/10 guy.

My cheeks are very big, my chin is very weak (I don't like my profile at all), my nose is too big, my ears are too big. And I'm getting old too (almost 35).

Ummmm lmao your more than a 3... Sure a better haircut and maybe trim those brows would help, but your a 7.

I'm married, as long as she's happy, I'm happy. She tells me if I need to fix something.
I lost 80 pounds to keep her around so.. Better looking than 3 years ago.

I feel pretty as fuck nearly all the time. Sadly I don't get the same feelings from others.

I can maybe get one flattering photo if I wake up at 6AM and take 700 selfies during the Golden hour. So at the very least I can get a lot of disappointed first Tinder dates.

Both my parents are/were attractive so my hope is that I'll get my act together and be hot in my 30's.

Until then this is my life.

Years of posting pictures on neogaf and other less reputable associated places has given me a complex... I think so. Face wise.

I have a very good body though. I'm a fitness nut.

No idea. I've been told I'm attractive enough, I'm bald and pull the look off pretty well so I think that helps. Also put on a bunch of weight in the last year or so, and that doesn't help.

I was once told by a random little girl that I was handsome, and kids don't lie, so I guess I am ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

San Diego-ish
I once walked into a Abercrombie and Fitch when I was 18 and the manager came up to me and asked me if I wanted to work there based solely on my looks. So yes. I'm tall, fit, and pretty.

Yeah, definitely attractive. And bearded. I wish I had a beard.

Pretty guy (and i'm straight)
It took me a almost 2 years to look the way I look right now (was fat, zero muscles and depressed).
So to all fat people here who think they're ugly, you would be surprised how much better you can look feel with those pounds off.
Going from depressed to confident was a revelation.. life is so much easier.
I still have work to do, Its always a work in progress, and thats ok!

I was obese so i understand perfectly.
Several years of gym and diet work miracles.
