Actually, now that i look at the tweet, it says Gaming News. After that Zhuge responded in here, but that was after somebody posted that tweet in here. Does anybody actually know if this is PlayStation related, or did the discussion just happen in here because of somebody posted that tweet in here?

Those deals can still finish when someone is being acquired. But that's the only other thing I can think of...buying big pubs and studios can affect next-generation...
Because it can affect the future games that will never be exclusive or devs working exclusively on a platform holder...like a sony.

Who knows. Sony is the reason Inomniac is working on Spidey, without Sony, Insomniac wouldn't be making Spidey 2, so if someone would acquire Insomniac, they could not be making Spidey 2.

Lower your expectations BOIS. I don't think it's going to be a game announcement, an acquisition or free online (lol). It will probably be a Sony decision that some will welcome and some will not, hence the interesting discussions imho.
My take as well. Some sort of policy change or addition .
Google has been rumored to be aggressively trying to moneyhat some IPs for their rumored console and streaming service so I guess it could relate to a franchise that used to be on Playstation going to the Google Console as the relation to Sony.
According to Zhuge, the tweets are unrelated. I don't think the "interesting discussion" tweet is related to his tease.
Nobody other than Sony is acquiring Insomniac, don't forget that a couple of weeks ago the Insomniac logo accompanied by some other studios were put not he Playstation Spain website showing them as "owned" studios.
Would be rich for a company that literally forfeited all their internal development gaming interest not too long ago. :P

They got quickly removed, this was back in August if I'm not mistaken but if you search the web it will show up just google search "insomniac acquired by Sony" that got quickly removed so we don't know if it was true or a mistake. (can't due to VPN access at work)
The difference between Marvel and WB is that WB funds the development of their games in entirety, and Marvel/Disney don't. All they do is license out their IP.

would make no sense for sony to do this. Sony's first party games actually sell. Would make them less of a profit by them releases first party games day one.

That's the gist I got. I made a thread about it, and it was locked with Zhuge telling me he doesn't think the tweets are related, so his comment in this Sony thread also seems unrelated to the tweet about next gen.
He can correct me if I'm wrong, though, but I feel like we're now not being told anything lol
