Wow that's the most un-Nintendo thing I have ever seen. How can that CEO still have a job after something like this?

Can't watch the full video right now, but everyone and their dog over here knows that Yasha is fenomenally incompetent when it comes to PR.
Wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't get him canned just like embarrassing himself during an interview to the country's biggest news channel a month ago didn't.

Was that as bad as this? Dude dropped Fbombs at his staff live in English on an official Nintendo Stream.

As a CEO, he needs to understand that he's the FACE of the company in that region. If something goes wrong or awry, as the leader/face he needs to learn to RESPECTFULLY disassemble the situation instead of resorting to extremes like that. With the supposed accusations and words that he said in that video, he is representing the entirety of Nintendo at that time and place.

Dude needs to be fired ASAP. Nintendo will probably issue a public apology in the next few days or so.

That's an incredibly unprofessional CEO right there.....just like most CEO's unfortunately. What a world.

"CEO didn't see the post because he doesn't understand how the social network works and is now mad at me" is extremely relatable to me. I feel for those stream hosts.
Yeah, something similar happened at my office yesterday, the General Manager wanted to bring samples of some products to the office (which we found out later), she asked us if there were any in our showroom and pretty much everyone said no because the only ones we had were for a client, but apparently she never made it clear she wanted samples for her (I say apparently because I wasn't in the office when this happened). Fast forward to today and our department boss tells us the Manager was mad because nobody offered to help her with the samples...

Love how the type of people who post in youtube comments are almost always salty about getting banned from here or whatever. One mention of this forum and people are falling over themselves to talk trash haha.

Anyway, yeah this guy doesn't have business being CEO of anything.

Only thing that changed was the name change.

Well, not just the name. There's also that most people outside of Era call it out for its authoritarian modding and left leaning, bubbled user base. (And also doxxing, apparently. Not sure what that's about)

Wish I could disagree with all of those...

those hosts' faces: "I am so embarrassed, but also, I'm kind of glad everyone in the world is finally going to see what we see from our boss on a regular basis"

Well, from what I've heard from people who worked at Nintendo RU, he is pretty much always like that in work environment, it's a miracle it only just leaked to public

This CEO seems way out of touch. Sometimes I wonder how certain people got certain jobs to begin with and he is one of them

This was pretty painful to watch. The hosts actually trying to cover this shit up is hilarious. Good guys those two.
Yasha however seems like a trainwreck.

Just one of many other unprofessional CEOs around the globe. At least this was catched on tape, I suppose. So yeah, not surprised. But I would be pleasantly surprised if Nintendo Japan stepped in and fired his ass or something.

Havent seen the video, but considering the top down centralized management of Nintendo and their extreme protectiveness of their brand this guy is probably already out.

iirc someone in a thread on some PR dude being racist posted a [public] twitter account of who might've sent the racist tweet.
Is this doxxing? Not really & the person was either banned or warned for trying to start a dogpile, so resetera took quick measures against it.

Why has this turned into "RESETERA DOXXES PEOPLE"? Because it sounds bad & certain people seem desperate to make this forum seem like some sort of echochamber of pure evil so if a single member on the forum does something shitty & gets immediately banned for it, that's now a permanent mark on all of us for posting here.

Not sure what to say about the video in OP to get back on topic, it's weird to see someone so un-family-friendly as a Nintendo CEO lmao.

Nope, he looked stupid rather than straight up abusive that time.
Instead of delegating the task to the PR person he decided to go on record personally for some reason. Tried to promote Nintendo Labo, delivered a nigh incomprehensible stream of consciousness in very bad Russian with thick accent instead.

I wonder if Reggie also rages behind the scenes. Probably not Steve Jobs-level though.
Not Enough Shaders: Gamecube Retrospective said:
At the time, Nintendo believed “Geist” — a first person shooter published by Nintendo — would be GameCube’s “Halo Killer”. And everyone inside the meeting reassured Reggie that “Geist” would become a huge hit with the older hardcore gamers who loved “Halo”.

“And then at the end [of the presentation], Reggie looked around the table and basically said “Look, don’t bullshit me. How do you guys really think this thing is going to hold up?” No one said a word for a minute

Good to see an arsehole exposed. That's surely his job gone much to the relief of everyone he worked with, and took out his frustrations on.

Well thats not raging, thats just doing bussiness. We all know that on that levels of management you have to be somewhat "agresive" but that not mean being disrespectful like we have seen in this video.

Edit: I'm refering to Painguy post, dont know why it doesnt show.

Very painful to watch, imagine if Reggie were like this off-screen...

I expect he will be fired, can we expect an official statement from Nintendo HQ?

This is Russia. Either nothing will happen or everybody but the CEO will get fired instead.

Who is to say this guy is not some oligarch's kid and therefore is entitled to everything?

I don't think Nintendo would want to associate themselves with a savage "cyka blyat" rager honestly, Nintendo management is in top-10 most trusted, these incidents won't help them maintain this image.

These things spread like wildfire, as you can see right now.

Yeah if this a Nintendo subsidiary and not just a distributor (I suppose they wouldn't be called Nintendo of Russia in that case), I expect a replacement.

He's French actually

https://kanobu.ru/news/gejmeryi-tre...ndo-iz-za-ego-otnosheniya-k-rabotnika-408838/
Some translated quotes:
One anonymous former employee told Kanobu this about working with Haddaji:
  • Haddaji yells at employees for tiniest of mistakes, yells from his office is a normal practice, as are meetings in an angry tone.
  • Allows himself to make jokes about appearance, politics, etc
  • Makes delays in business processes and then accuses employees in it.
  • You can get on his bad side without visible reason and then you are going to be pushed around every minute
  • Berates partners and journalists behind their backs but speaks with them very tactfully in person
  • "Things that had to be done yesterday" is a regular practice
  • Employees are rarely sticking for more than a few months because of all of the above
  • Jobs are paid higher than market average, that's why anyone is still working there
  • Haddaji feels impunity because of multiyear contract with Nintendo
Anonymous source also told us Nintendo is satisfied with his work because before his arrival in 2012 sales in Russia were minimal, but with his involvement business became larger

I had to laugh when the woman interfered with a talk at the beginning and the host tried (I think?) unsuccessfully to make her clear that a stream is going on. I know these situations quite well.

Also I think that the two hosts have a good chemistry going on. I hope they don't have to suffer consequences because of the CEO's failure.

From the guys reaction, it seems like this is the norm from the CEO.

I feel bad for the Russian Nintendo fans.
