I used to say that the only good thing to come out of the trump administration is that he seems to be as miserable as possible for a president to be. Now, we also have the fact that he has galvanized democrats and revealed republicans for the shit sucking scum they are. That's better, but him having a portion of the misery that he's fed everyone else is still a comfort.

No it doesn't. Because that would be crazy (and requires a gross misreading of what I actually said). But the discussions for it included discussions with groups that were on international lists of terrorist organisations and had been engaged in attacks against civilian targets. And negotiating with those groups - among others - led to some pretty good things.
All of this could've been avoided if you had.... never run for President. Honestly, didn't he try to run for President in years before, but didn't become successful till 2016? I imagine Twitter and Facebook had a big role in him getting so far.

Pragmatically speaking, if you vote for a racist knowing that they will enact racist policies and that increased support for them will embolden racists, it's hard to claim then that you're not at least okay with a bit of racism.
I think if you look at the majority of his life, since he's lived in wealth, in NYC, there is probably some truth to this. He's spent most of his life wanting stuff and "magically" getting it thanks to wealth and people sucking up to his power. The business he ran was private, no shareholders, so he was effectively a king, doing whatever he wanted with it. The last two years has been the MOST resistance and pushback he's ever experienced in his entire adult life. It's like he had a working Infinity Gauntlet this whole time, and didn't realize once he got the Presidency that Captain America had ripped a couple of gems off.
