I know they've lost a bunch of the top level talent since the Metroid days, but the studio must have retained some of the culture and knowledge since they've continued to put out quality games.
But it means something when you consider all thingsOf course they have an idea for a launch window, how would you otherwise come up with a budget? Doesn't really mean anything all things considered.
Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.
:(I..... I... simply meant we wouldn't get the release date there....
Y'all read into stuff too much.
"Internally, we have expectations about when [Metroid Prime 4] is going to be released,"
Truly shocking

The massive disappointment around here if they're not showing MP4 or Bayo3 or the RetroStudios game at TGA could be something else LOL

Metroid Prime's original team is scattered between multiple studios. It was never going to happen.Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.

It's an absolute no brainer to reveal Prime 4 there, which is kinda why I think Nintendo won't lolThe massive disappointment around here if they're not showing MP4 or Bayo3 or the RetroStudios game at TGA could be something else LOL

Retro moved onto other projects, which I can't really fault them for when they did three games back-to-back and each time was a nail biter in terms of project management. That, and losing talent to both Bluepoint and Armature couldn't have helped them out much in the long run if they did ever want to go back to it.Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.
So strange that Nintendo went radio silent on MP4 after the E3 announcement 17 months ago
They have an internal launch window for all of their games currently in development, it's how companies works.
This is a misunderstanding of how Nintendo operates now. Sorry if I sound dismissive, I am sure they are talented in their own right, but Bandai Namco is like the people you contract to Physically build a house and nail it together. nintendo (sakamoto or tabata) does the civil engineering, architecture, project management, and so on.Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.
Rétro Studios was a newbie studio with only a handful of canceled flukes on their backs, but Nintendo saw potential and gave them good management, and turned them into a studio that has only made masterpieces.Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.
Retro Studios was a mess and didn't have anything going for it.Sad to see it's not the original team or the original developers. It's Bandai Namco Singapore, whose only console game so far is a 79% rated JRPG.

I don't think theyy atrted developing after they announced it.They had nothing when they announced it, just a old logo so I think that makes sense
