Really happy that these guys are going to put this out on Switch and PS4 as well as PC. As others have said, they make retro style games very faithfully.
As for people poo-pooing the Genesis style:
#1 stuff it, the Genesis was great, get off your high horse.
#2 Contra: Hard Corps is a wonderful game
#3 these guys are Brazilian, I know the SMS was massively popular there and I imagine the Genesis / Mega Drive was as well
#4 Mega Drive is a way cooler name, it should have come stateside with that name
#5 I've lost my way and gone off topic, it's time to end this

I love NES Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden which is why I had good times with Oniken and Odallus. Never been a huge fan of Contra so I'm a bit iffy on this new game.
The presentation looks spot on but I doubt the game itself will be my thing.
