It seems like Disney veers more right-wing than anything these days, so I'm not getting too worked up over them doing their jobs in this one small instance because someone was objectively being a nuisance.

What does it say about our country and politics when a man at the show tonight felt the need to protest Disney's Frozen on Broadway with a pro Trump flag?? How frightening is it that our show's messages of love, acceptance, and diversity have become the opposition to supporting Trump? The curtain call is a thank you between actors and audience, a final connection to end a shared experience. I will not apologize for how I responded to the disrespectful man trying to interrupt this moment with a pathetic political platform. Not at our show! The Disney World MAGA fucko was in some Facebook Disney groups I lurk. So I can tell you with some confidence this was the same dude as here. He literally has a personal Facebook account dedicated to the pictures he takes in famous places with his Trump banners.
It brings me great joy to see him banned. Just imagine going out there and deliberately trying to upset people like this when they're on vacation. What an asshole.
And people will be real concerned about this because they seriously can't tell the difference between not letting someone be an asshole on private property and being a full blown fascist dictatorship that doesn't allow freedom of expression or speech.
They do. But that's more because of their self-enforced "tradition" of having the latest president be added to the Hall of Presidents finale. They don't actually support Trump, per se, no more than they supported Obama, Bush, or Clinton when they got added. Story goes that the Imagineers actually thought he wasn't going to win so they started sculpting Hillary early and were devastated on election night... hence why he looks so weird, as the base wasn't originally of him, supposedly. If true, it explains why it's a shitty looking audio-animatronic all things said and done, especially compared to what they normally put out. But they had to put him in so as to not stir the pot. That's, sadly, what Disney does. They try their best not to take sides out of fear of losing their squeaky clean image to anyone. Probably why they haven't said anything about that Leia voice actress who mocked Dr. Ford- since most people don't care about cartoon VAs, so doing it would only upset conservatives. I was actually pleasantly shocked when Iger walked out on Trump's roundtable thing for business owners because of his stance on climate change, surely he knew that'd rattle Trump supporters.
