Harry Potter Wizards Unite (WB/Niantic) logo revealed

Looks like the game will feature aspects of both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. Release date still "2019".

PS: This is a mobile game, not to be confused with the console one that had leaked footage recently.

As you can see, there are three familiar wands included in the logo, which a lot of you will spot as belonging to Harry, Ron and Hermione. The silver lettering is all scuffed, almost as if a 'fantastic beast' might have been trying to attack it, and did you notice the 'S' in 'Wizards' looks a lot like the one in the Fantastic Beasts logo? So, it looks like the game will be infusing elements from both Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter – very exciting.

And with the interesting timing of the Harry Potter series was once tried to be acquired for a video game back in the N64 days by Nintendo

The leaked gameplay is for the console game, this is the mobile one.

There are multiple HP games being developed under the Portkey Games label. This will pretty much be a re-skinned Pokémon Go, I am assuming.

If this is that leaked game, kinda shocked by the developer judging by the quality

...also this press release is abysmal, reminds me a fansite fawning over a final fantasy logo reveal teaser, the wands? The typeface? Expected more from pottermore

Not the same game, as I said above. Maybe a mod should add mobile to the title.

Also, Pottermore is the official HP website where JK Rowling shares stuff and all news from the series come from so yes, it's quite literally a fansite?
