PUBG PS4 |OT| Well, There it is,
Great to hear it is moving to other platforms. Although it feels too late now that BO4 and Fortnite got such a strong grip there.

How does PUBG fare in a post-Blackout world? I haven't played PUBG for probably 6 months on PC, but I've been playing Blackout over the weekend and it feels like night and day from a polish and performance standpoint.

Going to run like ass on base PS4, you just know it.

Get read for horrible inventory controls and piss poor graphics and performance at the start of the game.

A few words from the PUBG HQ Team in Korea

From Koo Sung Jeong, PS4 Lead Project Manager:
"One of most memorable moments while developing PS4 PUBG was the first time we had 100 people join a test match. Before the test, the dev team's mission was to deliver the finished product this year – it was a big challenge and it felt almost impossible. But as soon as we had 100 people drop in for the test, our confidence started to build and and we pushed ourselves harder to make everything happen. We are proud of the game we have created and can't wait to get it into your hands!"

From Changmin Lee, PS4 Engineering Lead
"It's always exciting and tense presenting our work to the players as a developer. Getting our game into the hands of the PS4 community that haven't experienced PUBG is a thrill equal to creating a new game. Everyone on the PS4 dev team have worked passionately on every single moment of the game to create a perfect experience for our players – we hope you all enjoy your journey on getting a chicken dinner!"

As we prepare for the official launch on December 7, be sure to stay up to date on the latest news at our website and social channels. The team here at PUBG have worked tirelessly to bring our unique Battle Royale experience to this platform, and we can't wait to start this new journey with you.

PS4 owners, enjoy! While the game should undoubtedly run better (something that pushed me towards other BRs), I can never forget the intensity of PUBG matches. Had some of my all time favourite gaming memories on it, and I'm happy more people get to enjoy it.

I got a lot of hours out of this game, even in early access. It can be an absolute blast, and few games give anything close to the same experience. Warts and all.

Edit: That Nathan Drank skin is really cool, and a great fit.

Sick of these Battle Royale Copycats, there's already Fortnite, COD, H1Z1 etc on PS4

Why would you even want that?

This game is way more tactical than Fortnite and wouldn't even be a competition on pad vs KBM.

Well PC is a different input type on PUBG. Xbox uses the same input as PS4 so one would assume it would have cross play. Perhaps if PUBG ever implemented m/k on console then yeah, crossplay with PC.
Nothing really wrong with giving an option, Fortnite building with PC is crazy compared to consoles and it has it, my point is if they were thinking of crossplay they would have already done it with PC first.

There isn't even crossplay with PC.

I'd like to see one of these games (maybe Fortnite?) that has multiple clients that support multiple input modes (KB&M & gamepad on PC & console, touch on PC & mobile) support crossplay not broken down by platform, but by input method. So someone on a MS Surface could play with people on iOS and Android, and a PC player using a gamepad matches against PS4 & Xbox owners, while an Xbox player with KB&M plays with PC players...

There has been nothing for PC to cross play with. Xbox is only just now getting mouse and keyboard support this week and PUBG hasn't been on PS4 yet.

Another 10 million sales there for them. Easily gonna finish the best selling game this gen. Likely to stay at 5th best selling ever.

Wait, 90$? Is this a thing on Xbox and PC? What even does that edition have that the other editions don't? Just curious.

Anyhow, enjoy ps4 players!

So how is the base performance on Xbox?

Because I like PUBG. But I suck at it on PC and feel like Id be better off on console.

Not interested in the game anymore. Half a year ago I would have bought it but now I got Blackout. One BR game is enough for me, even though they play differently.

Oh, up until now I thought this was free-to-play like Fortnite.

Is there a reason to pick up this game instead of Fortnite? Because there is nothing beyond battle royale, right?
I do think they should push for at least a free-to-play version of the game.

I'm not a big fan of battle royale games but if I had to choose, I'd pick Fortnite because of its popularity and price.
It's not even worth considering.

what a joke that it took so long for it to release on PS4
years long exclusive timed deals are ridiculous
