Trying to pick up Bortles & Stafford this week with an eye on Mariota as well, there is method to this madness however. In 2 weeks our league leader has Mahomes on bye and by then, the waiver wire will be as barren as the Sahara.

Looks like I'm going to 10-0 in the Era League But 5-5 in my money league.

I don't know what to do with myself. My RBs combined for almost 50. I'm normally lucky to 15 to 20 out of them.

I'll probably put a waiver claim in for him just to see how it shakes out, but I expect it to remain a committee approach with him, Carson, and Davis. Not something you'd want to be a part of unless you're in a deep league.
i swear, my fantasy team is like the jax jags of last year, just getting wildly lucky on matchups and an easy schedule. There are at least 3 other teams that i haven't faced yet that would soundly beat me, but our league is deep enough that i haven't had to face them so i'll probably cruise into the playoffs while also getting a first round BYE.

God bless Zach Ertz. Was only up by 3 points, and my opponent still had 4 players left to play while I only had Ertz. I now have a nice 30 point cushion and must hope that Marquise Goodwin, and Robbie Gould don't go nuts on MNF to pull off the upset against the top team in our league.

So like many others i lost Kupp :( .I have a chance to make it still. Was offered the following for a trade:
CMC (me) for Hopkins and Cook.
Larry Fitzgerald (me) for Golden Tate
Should i take any of them? Hopkins and Cook is tempting but CMC has been on fire recently

I love deal #1 in PPR. Hopkins is a massive WR upgrade for you. #2 is too risky though. I think Tate will improve but you don't have time to wait it out. Ride the new Cards vibes

I'm kinda nervous to use legatron due to the fact they're playing in a horrible condition type of field.
I got offered John Brown for Jalen Richard. At RB I already have Kamara, Hunt, Kerryon, White and Cohen. My WR core is weaker with Hill, Marvin Jones, Jeffrey and Baldwin. John Brown has been weak lately but I'm wondering if it may be worth the risk since I don't need Jalen.
Take that deal. Brown has a pretty good playoff schedule, you might be able to flex him as a high upside guy in a few games
Just trade Odell/Fournette for Diggs/Barkley. How'd I do? My WR1 is Julio Jones. RBs would be Barkley, Michel, Cohen. Also have AJ Green sitting on my bench...

Le'Veon said he wasn't going to play if he didn't get a new contract, and became the first player to actually follow thru on his promise
I guess the question now is if Le'Veon is the worst draft pick (assuming he went in the top 3 of your draft) of all time. This wasn't an injury where you lose them for the season, or a suspension, or a player just being very innefecient. It was a saga of rumors of him coming back at various points- all of which were clearly bullshit in hindsight, as it's clear he never intended to play for the Stealers if they did not give him a long-term extension

Steeler fan and Conner fantasy owner here. Very happy he didn't report. The team is playing great and he's become nothing but a distraction.
I mean, maybe. He made you hold onto him until Week 11. Most suspensions or injured players either gave you some good weeks, or were droppable after a couple weeks.
yeah I'm glad I picked 7th, I had Bell after Gurley and Kamara and would have been real happy if he fell to me. thankfully that didn't happen.

Yep. I took Bell 1st overall and remember listening to WDVE the morning the news broke he didn't show up for week one. I instantly pulled out my phone while driving to work on 28 to pick up Conner. Very glad he wasn't drafted, and also that I didn't get into an accident. Conner salvaged a disastrous 1st round pick for me and has me looking good to make the playoffs.
I got 24 hours to drop one, Sony Michel or Marlon mack.

dropped baldwin for corey davis this morning (who I drafted and dropped a few weeks ago and went unclaimed)
