How do the saves work, they both save on the system regardless right?

How yall gonna buy it? I'm primarily a digital guy for everything else.

Physical on day 1 most likely. And yeah, as far as I know all saves go to the flash drive the Switch possesses.

I can't answer your first question, nor am I buying this game, but my policy for other mainline Pokémon games is to buy physical carts so that I can trade with myself if I need to. Might not even be an issue with this game.

Physical for me. For some reason it always seems like the "right" thing to do for Pokémon games for me.

Physical so I can sell it on if it's trash.

I'm going physical. The only switch games I'm playing at the moment are Diablo and NBA and I've got those both digital. Pokemon can live in my Switch until Smash comes out, at least.

Physical + Pokeball bundle

I don't like buying games digitally unless it's digital only, a port of an older game, or very very cheap.

Console games = always physical for me. Trade in value is a big plus to me, especially first party Nintendo titles since they tend to hold their value pretty well

This will be the first time I don't go physical for a Pokemon game. I'm sure I'll go back to physical for Gen 8 though.

I hadn't really thought about it until now, but now I'm thinking digital. I don't ever go digital with console games, but I will with Smash. My mentality is: How often does Nintendo re-release Smash games? Never. They do re-release Pokemon games, but it's usually years and years later -- and even then, I've never actually re-bought a Pokemon game. Goddammit, I'm gonna get this game at launch now, fug.

I'm assuming the act of trading with oneself in the absence of a Pokemon Bank connection will require one to own two Switches, would it not? Hence if you're keeping all of your digital game licenses centralized to a single Switch, going physical with the other Pokemon Let's Go version just makes sense to me.

I tend to go digital where I can on Switch. It's just much more convenient for a portable system.

Physical for me. Just a preference for most games.

I was tempted to go digital since I'm so excited for it an no one is doing midnight releases though. Also still kind of tempted by the pokeball even though I doubt it'd be worth it for me

I keep wanting to go all digital, but physical is just a lot cheaper when it comes to Switch games, which is absolutely mental given the cartridge cost, but I guess Nintendo really needs to placate stores. (Pokemon is not so bad, but Smash is €70 vs €51)

If I get the Pokeball Plus (not sure yet) it's probably physical, then I'll get future Pokemon games digitally so I can have all of them on my switch at the same time.

Digital Pikachu.

Amazon always fuck up delivering to my flat and won't have time to pick up myself Friday.

Does digital unlock midnight?

Always go physical for Nintendo unless it's a multiplayer game you KNOW you'll always play from time to time. If you're into reselling you'll get more money back.

Physical for the first time on Switch.
Pokemon games are always pretty useless once a newer version comes out and you've transferred your Pokemon across (transferring to Sun and Moon made Pokemon incompatible with X, Y, Ruby and Sapphire for example) so I tend to sell them on afterwards.

Physical bundles with the Pokéball for my partner and I. Will be here whenever Amazon feels like it, otherwise would've been digital.

Always digital on Switch. I hate changing those little carts.
