Guys how do I use the power I extracted from my legendary weapon through the cube? I could not find it anywhere, also any tips on what to do? I have 0 understanding of the cube.
An optional area in adventure mode, Ruins of Sescheron, as well as the siege part of Act 3?A thought just entered my mind - are there any areas featuring snow and ice in Diablo 3?

There are some ice caves, plus in Chapter 3 and Chapter for there's a whole derelict castle in a winter setting where the Barbarians came from (and where Kanai's cube is found).A thought just entered my mind - are there any areas featuring snow and ice in Diablo 3?
Shit, so I started a game on normal campaign mode, should I have selected seasonal? This is my first time really playing the game. Created a Demon Hunter.
Additionally, I know on the PC you can hit ESC to pause the game of your not in a party, how can I do that on the Switch?
Its fine you can create another character and make it seasonal.Shit, so I started a game on normal campaign mode, should I have selected seasonal? This is my first time really playing the game. Created a Demon Hunter.

When you are in the cube menu hit the L or R button and you will go to a page where you can choose your cube powers. I had a hard time finding it too being a longtime pc player.

So, super newbie stuff here. Literally the first time playing the game ever on any platform. Went and made a seasonal character and started with the story campaign- only about level 18 now and still in the first act. Playing on normal difficulty- pretty much breezing through everything so far, and never came close to death. Diligently upgrading my equipment as I go, based on whatever is dropping, Got pretty much all Gold/orange tinted equipment appropriate for my level at this point- a few items have slots, but I have not picked any gems up yet, so I'm not sure if these drop in normal difficulty or not.
My questions is at what point should I bounce up difficulty, or do I just keep it on normal for this first campaign run.
For the record, I don't necessarily like my games brutal hard, and I certain don't want to deal with over the top"bullet sponge" enemies, but I also don't want to shortchange myself in Exp gain and loot acquisition, but it is advisable to increase difficulty at this point? Thanks
As soon as you breeze trough the game, try a harder difficulty. Until you hit level 70, Master is the highest you can choose. And that is, with a little luck with the loot, absolutely doable, may even be to easy. Higher difficulty means more exp, gold and better items, so you should always try harder difficulties, as long as you don't die all the time or killing takes to long. So, super newbie stuff here. I am also brand new to D3 - was enjoying the game as-was, but I've been gradually increasing the difficulty, up to master now, and I've enjoyed the game more and more with each increase. It's still doable but game now has some challenge! So, super newbie stuff here. Literally the first time playing the game ever on any platform. Bump it up now. Unfortunately you can only bump it up one notch from what was originally selected. So, super newbie stuff here. Literally the first time playing the game ever on any platform. If you come out of game of course you can bump it up more than one. I started in normal, and am now up to master, which is as high as I can get pre level 70.Bump it up now. Unfortunately you can only bump it up one notch from what was originally selected.
Hard mode isn't hard at all. It's just Harder than Normal. Normal mode would be like an Extra Easy mode in any other game. There is no difficulty to speak of once you get the hang of things, which takes like an hour.
I advise anyone starting new start of Hard. You can always bump it down to Normal if it's giving you trouble but if even Hard mode is easy for you (trust me, it will be) you can at least bump it up another notch

So lots of people here are saying there's no downside to Seasonal characters, but it seems like you need to be online to play them?
I'm usually playing on my commute in the morning and afternoon and rarely if ever have connectivity during that time. One time when I tried to play the game told me "Your seasonal character isn't currently available" and I could only play with my non-seasonal characters.
Ok, but that is a significant downside everyone here seems to be overlooking. I don't want to have to connect to a hotspot every time I want to play, very inconvenient. You can start the seasonal character online at home and then continue it offline later. Or you could just use a hotspot for the initial conenction.
Separately to the above, is it expected that so many skills are just...seemingly useless?
I'm playing as a Wizard and am currently around level 20, and so many skills just have no use at all. And then I unlocked disintegrate and it seems pointless to use anything else since that's so powerful! Is this just a side-effect if still rising through the early game, or will this continue to be true even after I reach 70?
Really? Game told me Master is the highest until level 70. Damn. Thought it was different on pc/ps, but wasn't sure about it.you can choose torment pre.-70, thats how people boost you. Torment 6 is the highest IIRC from PC. The sweet spot is Expert tho, maybe Master when youre close to 70 or you got real lucky with legendaries.
edit: yup just checked, still Torment 6 as the cap.

I'll just keep using non-seasonal characters for now.

Seasonal characters recommended but not at all mandatory.Ok, but that is a significant downside everyone here seems to be overlooking. I don't want to have to connect to a hotspot every time I want to play, very inconvenient.

All I'm saying is that I started a seasonal character per everyone's recommendations, and then the game blocked me from using that seasonal character on my commute.Seasonal characters recommended but not at all mandatory.
Just play and have fun lol.
You can't go above "master" until 70. T6 is the max for fresh 70.
Right - I'm 1 challenge away from getting my Seasonal gear reward.
I need to clear a level 20 Greater Rift, which I understand to be just below Torment 4.
I can get up to the boss within the 15 minute allocated time, yet because they are super spongey, it takes me a good few minutes to kill.
What am I doing wrong? Obvious answer is gear up, but literally all the gear that is dropping is worse than I have equipped.
Rhaknar
Nah, I am talking about the story mode. After every D3 pause I love to replay the story. Thought it would be the same for the adventure mode.
Edit: Do you already have a Lvl 70 char?
All I'm saying is that I started a seasonal character per everyone's recommendations, and then the game blocked me from using that seasonal character on my commute.
It kinda sucked and got in the way of having fun.
So I'm making sure others don't run into the same problem.
Iirc, every new char you make (at least in the same mode) can start on higher difficulties.

Is this game worth it solo? I remember when I played on PS4 co-op with my sister we'd run higher rifts and got good loot. Could I feasibly get the best stuff solo?
I just have to do "reach greater rift level 20 solo" to finish chapter 4 season. I don't understand this one, being i did a couple of rifts on my season character. Am i suppose to start a new character and do greater rift till i get to level 20?

Wait what is season set and what do you mean by free?reminder that you only get the "free" season set once, so you might not want to get it on a class that has a shit one.
