That's unexpected. I think I've never seen a PSN promotion starting on Monday.

For those interested in spending more: Digital Deluxe includes the season pass and should be worth it if you like COD games. Don't get that Enhanced deluxe edition, the only difference is that you get more COD Points.

The microtransaction system is really dumb because you have to earn the items after buying them so even if you like to dress up your characters it's not really worth it. You are already coming in late to the tiers so there's no point buying into the system now.

Perhaps this is to try and raise more revenue after the 'disappointing' half a billion dollars the game brought in in it's first week.

Although for me ÂŁ41.99 is still too expensive.

To try to gain a bit more players before the imminent PUBG release ? In Europe the price of COD on PSN is usually very high (€70).

As expected! It has been like that for the last few years - just weeks after the initial launch comes the first CoD sale!

I guess it is a good time to buy now that some major problems (audio performance) have been worked on ?

Hmmmm.... Wonder if it's worth the gamble of waiting for a further discount if it appears in the 12 Deals of Christmas (as previous CODs have) or go for it now?

If you're going to play it for Blackout, I'd say go for it. It's already tough and people are only going to get better. If you've ever said "I wish I could just play Fortnite without the building" Blackout is for you.

Multiplayer is a blast, feels like Black Ops 2.5. If you like Call of Duty multiplayer, you'll enjoy it, just be wary that there are some hero-shooter aspects that remain in the game.

Zombies is basically unfinished, with quite a few bugs remaining in the maps, and no real end-game content, with factions and callings (daily-weekly challenges, etc) not even in the game yet.

I doubt the discount will be any deeper than 30% at Christmas.

I'm not sure what the point of this "Plus exclusive" promo is because you need Plus to play the damn game anyway.
