Looks like it might end that way, at a later date. He isn't a bad guy so much as a weapon for paragus and we don't know the circumstance of him being saved but I'm guessing it's a "suns getting real low" affair and he chills the fuck out

Well, if Berserker green is the intermediary between SSJ1 and SSJ2 ala Kale, and Broly lives through the movie, he could very well get to Jiren's level.
I'm.... actually kind of ok with that. Like I was concerned Gogeta was going to end up as another Vegito if he was cocky (I still like Vegito more)

Also, if any one of you wanted him to be stronger than angels, then you're on some "his power is maximum" stuff.

I was hoping they'd also just make ssj4 gogeta design canon as well by just making that one the base form but since there's no mention of it I guess ssj4 gogeta design will continue to be a dream
If Vegeta gets a power up consider it a hand me down power up that's about to get replaced with something better. Until then he can't get one. He'll never get a ground breaking power up like that in its prime.

These movies are more of cross media content source. New Gogeta is just money making machine when looking at figures, gacha,console games and similar stuff. UI is out and there, it is not "exciting".
The whole "I don't know how to naturally access it" bit regarding UI at the end of the ToP didn't scream "UI won't be back for a while" to you?

Honestly would have found those old movies infinitely better without that stupid aspect. He just has to hate goku because hes the star of the movie, when he really should have been hating and beating the living shit out of Vegeta for the most part. At the very least just being a dick to everyone equally.
Because he's a capricious dick who has a very limited investment level.
Vegeta has been a main character for 30 years and 400+ episodes of Dragon Ball. You think you'd be over it by now. He'll never be less than the second most important character in the franchise again. Deal with it.
As for predictable, I'm not sure Goku clowning Broly in UI was less predictable than Gogeta. It's just we just saw Goku stomp a dude in UI in the show and they're gonna want to do something special for film goers. There's gonna be another series here, and there's plenty of time for UI to come back.
Nah, vegeta should get the win and UI by himself for a couple three sagas. Tired of Goku.
Vegeta IS a main character and has been for over 20 years. He is more important than Gohan and Piccolo at this point.
