Yeah I don't get how this is huge news, it's a originally portable title, no surprise it's selling best on a mobile platform.

did you not see the sales thread about vita? there's no way they make another attempt at the handheld market
It has lag which can really mess you up in the later stages of the game.
what's the main problem now? i remember reading it drains the battery super fast. was that not fixed also?
No, like actual drops to 1/3 framerate when you combo on some skins, along with buggy choppy transitions to new skins. For high level play it's really annoying, fine otherwise.
It's not input lag, I'd not even bother playing if it had that. The game gets really fast and when you get high combos it literally starts to slow down. This will likely just be an issue for people who are really good, and they can try to play around it. Still, I'd like it to be fixed.
Also sometimes my scores randomly don't get added to the leaderboard.
I'm failing to see any causation here. What other remasters have similarly sold better on portables than consoles?

I do wonder how they could pose a Vita 2 given better GPUs today, but my post isn't serious.
why are people so eager for sony to fail again? they haven't shown any interest in the handheld market since like 2013.

I'm eagerly waiting for Tetris effect to come to the Switch. This bit of news ensures it will happen sooner than later.
Yeah, it's really not. I can understand one not coming across the issues if you aren't getting combos, but there is no way you can get a really high score and claim it's hyperbole. The game will literally miss inputs due to lag while the pieces are flying down on the screen.
I bought it on Switch and PS4. Definitely play the most on switch w/headphones. Ideal late night alone game.

for a remastered psp game i think the bar shouldn't be "playable", it should run perfectly

As much as I'd like that as well, the other PS4/Psvr exclusive Rez Infinite only came to PC, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope. Time will tell, and I would gladly replace Puyo Tetris with Tetris Effect for my portable Tetris needs if it happens.
If you haven't noticed reviewers aren't very good at games. You likely could not even unlock endless mode without running into major issues.
