In truth, he didn't really solidify what he wanted in his story until a certain character showed up and the story solidified. David pro just re-edited the series to make it all come together.
I don't pay too much attention to Black Clover, but everytime I do they're fighting in a cave
I'll give the manga the benefit of the doubt that it's enjoyable enough as a popcorn read.

Well in caves every tile can trigger an encounter unless you use repels.
Black Clover looks even worse than it already is because the shows on either side of it are stupidly good.
I think it's very mediocre.
In the rare good episodes, I do appreciate the animation talent on display.

It's either this or Akame ga Kill. SAO is a masterpiece in comparison, and to be fair to SAO, I hear some of the newer seasons are pretty good.
No. We've been joking that Grey is obviously the blue haired girl we've never seen before in the OP for weeks.
It leads into the next arc and it's really just character growth for Okuyasu.
We've had worse, but we've had considerably better as well (being part of the same block and from the same publication as HxH does it no favors, either).

This is maybe better than AGK and a lot worse than SAO.
I felt it could have been better connected to the eventual main plot thread of the Part. It feels weirdly isolated as is.
The real winners are the ones who like both (manga).
Anime has a clear winner.
There was a dancer class in Final Fantasy Tactics if I remember right....but I can't remember if they're good.
