Forza Horizon 4 - Fortune Island expansion announced. Coming December 13th

Looks awesome but way too soon! I played FH4 for like 70 hours and feel like I barely scratched the surface and they are already dropping the expansion, wow.
It looks fine but I'm not feeling how it's "amazing" from that trailer. The best thing is the weather additions but I was sort of expecting those in the base game already.
Looks great. Will have to start playing this again to get the handles back before this comes out.
Forza horizon will leave at some point due to licensing and being removed from the store completely. Probably 4 years. But at that point they'll probably give it away GwG like they did FH1 and 2.
Huge corkscrewed paved roads and cliffside rally roads did it for me.
Looked a bit too close to the normal style of the main map. It's just more of that and therefore a bit disappointing.

When they mentioned drifting focus that killed those roads for me.
They didn't say you had to drift on them. Those kind of roads are amazing for regular driving.
Yeah I'm hoping it's more of a rally focus rather than drifting.
Seems like something that should have been included in the base game given how ho-hum section of vanilla map are and how well it does represent parts of the UKs extremities.

That is something I was really hoping for DLC1 as well, but I feel like they would have mentioned it in the announcement if it was going to be a focus.
As someone who got into Forza Horizon after the fact, and just recently purchased Forza Horizon 1, I was super bummed out to find that not only did it add a real rally mode in an expansion DLC, I also could no longer have any way to buy that DLC. So I guess my only (near future) hope is either that it sneaks into DLC1, or is a focus of DLC2!
I still have my original Xbox plugged in for the odd bout of Rallisport Challenge 2 ;)
Thank God they finally put some competent drift roads in the game, it's all I've ever asked for since 3. I'll probably purchase the game and xpac after watching this trailer and seeing that stretch of road.
I can't wait to race at this time of year, at this time of day, localised entirely within my Xbox.
Also, re: the Rally expansion. Are you using a UK or PAL copy of Horizon? There's a way to get the DLC, I just got it recently.

I'm in Canada, so it is the NA/USA version for me. I can see there appears to be a dlc code on amazon.uk, but no such luck in my region.
Looks like a sequel. Playground is a machine. How do they do it without us hearing about their whole studio pulling 100 hour work weeks.
