Enthusiast boards like us underestimate how much stuff like that connected with general audiences.

I am not sure if you're talking about me but I found it to be a great moment overall and the genuinely surprised look on the kids was uplifting for me. I don't think there's anything malicious about being joyous about it.

What has that to do with racism? A crowd of fans cheering for every shitty thing is not racist, it feels fake and staged. Would be fake/staged if they're from japan, france or namibia.

But this kind of cheering feels fake as fuck.
I like donating/philanthropy, and I like Xbox. Some of the rewards points kickbacks I get end up going to Trevor Project a lot of the time. I dunno if there's really any other corporation doing stuff like this, so it's nice.
Really cool of them to do this. The adaptive controller is great as well and every console should have something like that.
