Oh God, was that the same episode? I never ever want to see a escape room again there, lol.
According to 4 insiders: It's not possible but don't expect it. Microsoft and Obsidian are still in negotiations and the deal (though unlikely) can fall through at any moment and Microsoft won't announce a deal that hasn't been signed yet.So we are getting official annoucement of MS accquiring Obisidian today, right?
It's been denied. Playground Games won't be showing "their new RPG any time soon".
I forgot this was today.
As a PC gamer I'm excited. I can't wait to see what get's announced.
I'm expecting a lot of PC game announcements for xbox in conjunction with m&k support.
Oh okay...based on Kotaku story few months ago it looked like it was already in final stage. Haven't followed that story afterwards.According to 4 insiders: It's not possible but don't expect it. "Jump" is their main brand name. Shonen is just the name of a specific genre of manga. They've been using this style of naming for the games since the Famicon.Except Shonen Jump is a far better name. If I make a fighting game based on the Gears of War characters and call it "Gears Go!" it will still be a crappy name despite it making sense. I'm not knocking on the game at all, just that the title is so uninspired. It reminds me of LawBreakers.
The same writer on that kotaku story (Jason Schrier) actually said here on ResetEra that they're still only 90% through negotiations (the same % as they were a month ago). Seems Obsidian and Microsoft are having trouble coming to an agreement on something.Oh okay...based on Kotaku story few months ago it looked like it was already in final stage. This is where we get V gameplay for DMCV and the Harry Potter game announced right? : )
Looking forward to see new/unknown games later but wonder what percentage chance of a Scarlet tease. 10%?
Maybe, probably about how it's gonna rollout next year with things like public testing.
I just can't get myself to get hyped for this as I will start expecting E3 level announcements.
So if I preordered Exodus and it does end up on Game Pass, uhhhh.

Why are they hyping games that are already out? Only 4 of those games have yet to be released

I don't think we are going to get that here. I think if anything we would get teased that next year for release in 2020. I know they talked about working on it at E3 but it's a ways off more than likely so there's not much more they can say,
Warcraft III Reforged. I'd lose my shit. Likely would have been at BlizzCon if it was a thing though :(
we know that Rod and Del's actor are in mexicoKinda weird that they confirmed Crackdown 3 to be at the show but not other upcoming first party stuff like Gears 5, Tactics or Ori. Or Battletoads.
Phil Spencer clarified IIRC that he doesn't like exclusive DLC for multi platform games and that he doesn't mind timed exclusivity on a game because it isn't locking content away from a game available on all platforms. To all those who have quoted me for calling Phil a liar... Let's see off the top of my head

Xbox immediately proceeded to boast about winning NPD months as soon as they had the chance.
Phil says in an interview that he's not a fan of exclusive content on marketing deals or timed exclusives anymore?

Proceeds to have 1 year exclusivity on PUBG, Metro Exodus preorder bonus on X1 includes a full game and on PS4 it's a theme or something
He just "doesn't like it" because the big 3rd parties like Ubi, R* and Activision are favoring Sony and not MSFT on this front. But anyways... That's enough on my views on Phil. Didn't mean to turn this thread hostile. Let's just enjoy the announcements and surprises. Good vibes
It wouldn't be smart marketing wise. If MS wants this game to be the next pillar alongside Halo, they won't do this.
Cause nobody cares about Crackdown?Oh, please. Now how the hell could you possibly know the game is gonna fail when they've clearly taken every opportunity to make it the best it can be?
If it would've released shortly after that horrible reveal before when everyone was complaining, I could understand. Not at this stage though. We have every reason to believe this game is going to be a fun, good looking romp at best, and at least as good as the first. Jesus...

Sure, for MS it will probably not be a good move marketing wise, but Im not MS, so I don't care. Crackdown 3 shadow drop or bust.
'or bust'
So if they release it next week instead of today, you are not going to play it? ;)
