So, this thread prompted another look at what we could do here, and we found a way to make it work.
Some details to sort through (so I can't make definitive statements about timing and platforms), but Shatter will be coming to modern consoles.
Thanks for the poke, Era.

It's on Steam since years. That's great news, one of the few games I miss from my PS3. That'll be a day one purchase, I'd double dip on PC and Switch if it hits both.
I love you.So, this thread prompted another look at what we could do here, and we found a way to make it work.

Came in here to say this exact thing. After playing Tetris Effect I'd love to see this with PSVR support, but I'd be more than happy with just a modern rerelease.I enjoyed playing this in 3D Vision (although the perspective changes could break things that way).
This would actually be quite awesome to replay again as a seated VR game. I'd rebuy it on PC just for SteamVR support.
I guess a remake of this would be also be nice.
Fun fact: Both Shatter and GripShift use Sony's PhyreEngine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhyreEngine The graphics engine is not exclusive to Sony. Funnily enough, as shown in the Wikipedia article, the most recent game to use PhyreEngine is Capy's Below, which is an XB1/PC exclusive.
Wait, there's a Steam version?By the way, the Steam version of Shatter also works on Linux via Proton.
