Came in to say Cuban and saw it first in the OP. Then I was like ok then, reuben, only to see it as the second thing in the OP.

I love sauerkraut too much to switch it out but that does sound great, I should give that a shot some time.
Local Mexican place here does a steak and avocado torta served with chopped grilled onions and potatoes on the side and I can't get enough of it. Something about that bread's texture and flavor just puts it over the top.
I'm always down for a good shawarma too. Have yet to find any as good as I could get when I lived in Michigan.

But a Scottish breakfast sandwich makes that racially charged spaghetti abortion seem civilized :
Soft bun, black pudding (fried blood sausage) bacon, mushrooms fried egg and surprise starchy caramelized ingredient - potato scone! You could also add a slice of Lorne sausage aka square sausage aka salt.
In the background is a bottle of off brand "brown sauce" which is like a thicker fruitier A1. But it is imperative.

Honestly, it's hard to fuck up a sandwich. I've had plenty of white bread, mayo, and tomato sandwiches and they are still fucking good.
The clubhouse sandwich.
A double-decker sandwich made with toasted bread, with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, sliced turkey, cheese, and bacon in both sandwich layers, and served with the crust of the bread trimmed off and cut into quarters. It is so big you need toothpicks to hold it together. Absolutely delicious.
A close runner-up is the French dip sandwich. Simple but amazing.
