There is some cool stuff. But most of it is updates and new stuff for already existing software/services.

That achievement list was pulled from Xbox live. That's how those sites work.

Just checked out the mandatory leaderboard challenge in forza horizon 4. 3 million people have been recorded on the board. Also 85% of players got the achievement that is awarded the race before the challenge so that should mean that FH4 has just under 3.5 million players.
And lot of Achievements are rare. Which is weird. 1000 G is very easy anyway. I got it 28/10. Exactly one month after release.
Some are bugged for many people. Probably not all of why, but probably part of why.

3.5m players in one month isn't bad at all for an arcade-ish racer.
FH3 finally hit 10 million players after two years.
And GT Sport took 9 months to hit 5 million players.
Can't find anything for Forza 7.
I feel like Phil Spencer would have come out a long time ago and tempered expectations if this wasn't going to be similar to the X0 events of old. He's been pretty responsible about doing that in the past.

If MS don't announce that they've acquired Sega at X0, I don't see what the point of them having a show was.

Maybe this XO is about showcasing Gamepass. Which is why the GP twitter is loading something towards XO.
I always said it, MS has to make some deals like Netflix did with other studios to enrich Gamepass.
That's probably more important than acquisitions IMO.

MS can just try to extend their relationship with them benefiting MS.
It may be important now but in the long term, they're going to need a steady flow of first party games.
That's why Netflix has massive increased spending on their own content each year.
Granted, games are different. I think Microsoft will continue to rely on getting indie games on the service and deals with other publishers like Bethesda, THQ, etc.
