Yeah, it doesn't do anything for me.

Still the best Ghostbusters prints out there for my money:

Ghostbustland-ScottC.jpg

Edit: Also, guess that Randy Ortiz illustration that IronRinn posted will be coming soon: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bp2RxR2BWNF/
Durieux would be better without the terrible Slimer, but still not as good as the Scott C.

Great news on that Ortiz. Will definitely grab an art print version.

Yeah, it's beautiful, but I have zero need for a 1500 mickey mouse sculpture at my crib. Excited to see it in person at the event, though!

I'm gonna be super undiplomatic and say DON'T. Mystery tubes are usually a way for galleries to get rid of shit that they couldn't sell otherwise, and Hero Complex is, in general, a shit gallery.

Isle of dogs is infinitely more interesting to me than another avengers print or something like that.

Grabbed the first of the Eng's. I'll never hang it because Of the colors but I figure I'd regret Not getting one.

Seems like if you aren't in New York you need to be in SF or Los Angeles. All of the good galleries

Same lol

I grabbed both. I just love all of his palace life art so much.

I had to show a little restraint lol. I love all of the palace life stuff but the colors were so outlandish. That's probably the only reason I did get the one print. The throne room shit was veering into more full on fantasy book cover heavy metal territory for me.

I mean really. The audacity for someone to even try and slight a poster for a movie with so many tiny details and memorable characters (even for a below average Wes anderson movie). That Isle of Dogs poster is super cool.

Gotta say, his Fantastic Mr. Fox is the best print he's put out in years, and I like him branching out from Marvel movies he hasn't seen. Stuff like this is what he's best at, and I'm very excited for the show in general.

Any other resetera homies going to it?

I am going to be a d-con and am willing to buy stuff assuming there's no limit. Just an offer if anyone wants anything. The only thing I'm getting for sure is the Audrey Kawasaki exclusive.

6 to 9, I believe.

Edit: fallengorn and I survived the show! Also, gallery shows with prints should have a rolling table, especially when there's 100% chance it's going to downpour the day of.

Yesss. Just bring out a folding table during the opening. Rolling on the floor is awful.

Apparently all the Stouts did sell out last night? I guess a bulk of the people came when the show opened and did not opt to wait in the pouring rain.

In non-Stout news, here's a gallery of the Durieux show: https://www.slashfilm.com/laurent-durieux-mondo-show/

There's an Elevator to the Gallows print and I'm losing my shit.

So they definitely held an allotment back for today, and I bet for an online drop. They were super awful about communicating last nite.

Hm, missed that Mark Maggiori timed window for three prints today- anyone by chance have any of his older stuff (or an extra from today) that they'd be interested in selling?

The Durieux show was really solid. Had someone pick me up the jungle Apocalypse Now variant:

This is amazing, though I do wish the title and credits version had been approved.
