Just checked tribal council for the first time since we started and I'm surprised to see that all of my five picks have survived so far lol

This season has been so effing good you guys. Always a chance it could tumble, but we're halfway through now so I feel comfortable calling it one of the best seasons in a good long time. Depending on how the second half plays out, it has potential to be one of the greats

At least compared to the last few seasons, this one has been great so far. I'm hoping it'll stay that way now that we're at the merge.

I like Mike so damn much. I already was impressed by him when I saw what he's written and worked on, and now I just like him as a person.

Figured I'd throw out a last reminder before episode 7 tonight to check your rosters! Always feel bad when someone realizes too late they've forgotten.

Any predictions who's going out tonight? I could see it being Alec for flipping on the Goliaths at the swap and for being somewhat of a physical threat for individual immunity.

Just hope it's not my spirit animal, Christian.

Angelina isn't a player I particularly care for but that would be so harsh to screw her over like that after she has done something kind of compassionate in the game lol

To me it wasn't compassion. It seemed like spite because things didn't go the way she pitched her group. She is way too controlling of the group and it's gonna screw her over real soon. The best players will listen to others first and plant ur idea and make them think it's their idea.

That was a great episode and great tribal

I'm surprised that they all voted for Elizabeth after what happened with Angelina and what was said at tribal.

It worries me that Christian is being gunned for, because he's my favourite.

Oh. Yeah, that is true too. I caught the end point of a segment before that and from what you're saying I could see it being spite as well. For Elizabeth it is still a pretty nice heads up though

Elizabeth was annoying, but I still would've liked to have seen her last longer. Truth be told though, there aren't many I dislike. I'm cheering for Christian, but there's no player I really dislike outside of Carl.

Angelina doesn't seem like the nicest person and is really manipulative, but she's kind of cute.

Elizabeth did herself no favors by turning on Angelina like that. If that was how she treated someone who tried to help her, why would anyone ever want to help her?

Should Elizabeth have said nothing and waited until next Tribal Council to say something? She's going home; how does it benefit her to do nothing and just twiddle her thumbs waiting to get voted out instead of firing the bullet Angelina offered her?

By trying to come up with a way for her to work with Angelina against someone else. She was already dealing with someone who was willing to go against their alliance for her, try to enhance and exploit that bond.

Elizabeth was right to throw her under the bus but she should have done it in private to the Goliaths at camp, not drop bombs at Tribal.

I think her choice was solid. If she did it back at camp, they'd have time to talk and confirm Angelina was later. This way, they might make a rash decision. I'm not sure either option was wrong.

Once it showed Angelina talking to Elizabeth, I was thinking it was going to flip toward voting out Dan. It has to be coming!

Good episode all around.

There's a world of answers between 'do nothing' and 'try to blow Angelina up at tribal at the last moment' and almost all of them would have been better.

If you want to blow someone up at tribal it has to be a lot better than 'she tried to tell me she disagreed with your vote and was still my friend'

That IS something you can do something with prior, but it's not enough of anything at tribal to do shit.

honestly the "strike force six" mixed alliance's best interest was to get Elizabeth out. They needed the target off of Christian and they succeeded there. They are operating knowing they need to get the numbers down to 11 before they are in control

I agree. It made no sense to make the move now. The harder thing will be convincing people to vote someone other than Christian next vote. The thing to do might be to use a different alliance (one with most Goliaths and a few others) to pick off Dan before he suspects it, since everyone knows he has at least one idol. That way you take the target off the Six and you keep Goliath thinking Goliath is in control.

I think they use an idol to shield Christian next week, myself. They have excess ones and seem to be good at keeping things secret. Then they have the game on a near lockdown.

Elizabeth was gone no matter what. Angelina got butt hurt because her alliance didn't do what she wanted. It served no purpose to tell her, and only prompted a desperation attempt by Elizabeth to save herself. Angelina screwed Angelina.

Neither Davie nor Dan would really be interested in that.

Yeah, I don't really see any way an idol comes into play. If they even had one, it'd be weird to use it on Christian or have Christian use it when they could possibly just have the numbers by doing what they want with the David's. If somehow they wanted to blindside Dan then using an Idol first could just cause him to use one to be safe which would defeat the purpose.

I honestly just think the Christian target is a red herring, because who is immediately going to start targeting Christian after it just didn't work the last time? Angelina pushing more is just going to make her more of a target and most the other Goliaths have some form of relationship with him if not a relationship with someone that is close to him.

Edit: What if we saw some crazy The Genius level editing and we get a reveal next episode that Gabby found a HII at the merge feast and it just wasn't revealed yet. Like they focused so much on that sign and Gabby talking about it just to reference it next episode.

Man people really hated Elizabeth huh? Not sure I'm understanding the mechanics of this merged tribe. The "six" plus Elizabeth could've started voting out everybody already.

the alliance of 6 is playing correctly by allowing the rest of the tribe to select targets that are beneficial for them.

they didn't trust Elizabeth (nor should they have), and are laying low to ensure it's too late for people to act once they are revealed. This gives the other Goliaths a false sense of confidence as the first couple Davids are picked off.
