The logic is heavily flawed, so it's good to acknowledge this. A person with bad intent and a firearm will have the upper hand 95% of the time. Not to mention a hand gun vs any military grade firearm is like a WR trying to block a 300lb DT.

Yeah, that is shameful. The shooter was "a good guy with a gun". The place had security. He set off smoke bombs, so how exactly would 10 or 20 people firing their guns in a dark, loud and smoke filled room have helped resolve this? Who the fuck knows, just MOAR GUNS PLZ.

If he served 5 years, then I'm betting he was an 03 on a Security Force contract. Which is 5 years. From 2008-2013 he probably deployed to both Iraq and/or Afghanistan.
