YouTube app possibly coming on Switch November 8th

It will drop today and get a twitter post with a snarky remark about being able to see the direct on 15th November live on the switch itself.
No, but there was the rumour of the second Nintendo Direct this month. I thought it might be featured there if it happened today, but the rumour seems to be false.
The idea of a second Direct was summarily discounted in the Direct last week.
Was it? I'm not talking about a second Smash Bros. direct.
It wasnt though, as Sakurai stated it was the last smash dedicate direct before launch
He said it was the last direct before launch, not last smash direct.

So last year, we got word of Hulu coming in the Nintendo download PR. Today's just came out... no Youtube.
Time to give up on a Direct Mini happening this week. The YouTube would just be dropped on the Switch.

The idea of the Youtube app getting it's own Direct is so hilarious I now want to see it happen.
Exactly, yet some people seem to think it will happen. This also makes me chortle.
There have been whispers about a direct happening in November. The Direct would be the place to announce this.
I feel seriously out of the loop, what is the deal with TikTok and why is everyone talking about it the past few days?! It seems to be that Chinese viral GIF site, but people are saying they are sick of seeing ads for it. I don't recall saying any whatsoever...
I think we can safely say that's it's not happening today (if at all?).

Yep, that's my thinking too. Though we had someone reliable say it was accurate, which is odd.

It looks real since it's part of the feedback. We keep seeing rumors of another direct, but nobody knows when it is. Maybe Nintendo is moving it around. It doesn't mean YouTube announcement has to be part of a Direct though.
Because I can watch videos on it away from home on a bigger screen than my phone?
Unless it is mini, I really don't believe we're getting a direct anytime soon... maybe end of Dec or early Jan is a good time for that.
From the feedback screen yes it seems it is coming and very soon probably. It is just nice to know after so long. Wish we could know the same for Netflix =(

Some of us do, and want to enjoy this feature on our Switches as well.
Your question is like "Why would anyone want game X? I don't care about that game".
Some people would. I usually watch YouTube on my tv. But if it were occupied I would watch it on my switch.
I hate to change devices just to check something from YouTube.
I watch YouTube on my PS4 all the time. The app is better than the one on my TV.
If it's on the Switch then I wouldn't need to change devices if I'm playing something on it then decide to watch YouTube.
