What car is that? I don't think I knew it even existed.I finally got Edinburgh Castle last night and then won the rarest car in the game from the Super Wheelspins it gives.

Also, I think I got dick with my Edinburgh Castle supers, nothing really of note from memory.
Oh joy, my update was taking ages to download so I clicked cancel update to try it again and it uninstalled my game!

Yup, but it's crazy rare and is never in the auction house. I'm level 330ish and I haven't even seen it in wheel spins before.
same here. My wheelspin luck been terrible. Last week the only worthwhile car I got was the Ferrari La Ferrari (Ferrari the Ferrari). I have yet to get the cars I want/love/like a lot
I won a Crown Victoria very early in the game and thought it was a common car I could buy at the Autoshow. So I said to myself, eh whatever I'll buy it again if I wish to use it and sold it at the Auction House.

Level 340-ish and haven't seen the Crown Vic in wheelspins yet, and I've only seen the Austin taxi about twice.
My goodness this game is so much harder in Solo LOL but it's more fun free roaming.
The lack of cars in Horizon life to dodge and trick around is pathetic.
Half the fun of free roaming is trying to pull off skills and avoid oncoming cars in traffic at the same time. That goes all the way back to Pole Position in the arcade LOL
also was a nice treat to pull up a random wheel spin tonight and hit the new Bugatti hypercar. played around with it for a little bit but no real desire for it and everyone and their mother prices them at 2.6 million so at 2 million buyout I cashed in, in about 2 minutes.
gotten several million dollars on a couple of unique wheel spins that I had no interest in just by putting in a reasonable buyout price

Whoever said to use manual gears for the drift zones is my hero. Went from struggling to struggling a little less but eventually 3* them.

It's annoying when I show up at Forzathon with a bunch of randos, then when it actually starts, only 2-3 stay to do the objectives.
I had that yesterday doing the seasonal team event. One guy was in an S2, so there was one AI S2 to match. I was winning through the first lap half way through the second lap the S2 guy crashes past me and suddenly the S2 AI gets rocket boosters and flies past me at ludicrous speed.
Oh man, I fucking hate winter. I just remember trying the Laracer tasks and basically all of them being impossible because they don't lock the events to different seasons. At least have different leaderboards depending on the season ffs.
I would actually love it if they made it so all speed traps/zones and drift zones had different leaderboards depending on season.
For the stories/businesses I'd rather they just lock it to whatever season they were intended for originally, they seem a little too elaborate to just adjust the times for and call it a day.

It's a shame, it really soured me on the Laracer stuff. I was super looking forward to it until I happened to unlock it during winter and could only 1-star everything.

Nah, it's fine as is. There's so much things to do either way between the route creator, customizing race rules for events, multiplayer and such. I'm tired of games putting hours and hours of daily/weekly grind in order to make meaningful progress, so I welcome Forza Horizon 4's relatively minor weekly updates. The change of seasons is already a big enough change imho.
I'm going to repeat myself from much earlier in the thread, but it's also great for ensuring that people who don't have much playtime don't feel like they're missing out. Even if you just have a couple of hours a week, you can pop in and do the weekly stuff. If you don't have time for that and have some FP saved, you can pop in for 10 minutes and buy the weekly shop cars.
I love this kind of design. This is a game that's fine with being a hobby, or even an occasional pastime. It doesn't demand that you marry it like so many GaaS games do.
And I'm saying this as someone who does make time for gaming, hell I've played FH4 almost every day since it released. And while I would of course like some more seasonal stuff to do, I'm fine with the way things are (and I'm thrilled that they're adding more championships because I consider that an extra treat on top of everything else).
So, MS announced that they'll have something FH4 related to reveal at X018. Expansion 1? Toyota and Mitsubishi returning?
Yup. I hardly play more than a few hours per week, and there's weeks I don't even log into the game at all. I am not missing out on too much either way, which is excellent. In Fortnite, for example, missing half the season would mean having 0 chance to unlock the best items in the pass. I hate that games try to impose their rhythm on me if I want to keep up with the meta or the unlocks. Glad FH4 took a more balanced route.
I prefer to play on my giant tv but my computer is older & I don't get crazy frames like you would.

I was going to post that the Winter co-op championship with the buggies can go screw itself in the urethra with a pretzel stick, but I ended up getting the reward even though my team lost 2 of the 3 events.

So you are saying, my Horizon 4 saves automatically, and then when i go to pick up my 1X to play it'll just pick up the save without me doing anything?

Hey, uh, so I was playing just now and the VIP house was no longer marked as owned for me. I rebought it (still free) and got 5 spins again (they were crap), but I was wondering whether anyone else had had the same issue.
Forzathon Daily Challenge « I am the law » doesn't work for me. It doesn't tally my speed traps stars, no matter how many times I try. Kind of bummed I won't be having my 2x30 bonus FP. Anyone else ?
Don't have the image in front of me so I can't positively identify, but two Jeeps are only available for reaching specific levels in Cross Country--the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and the Trailcat (which is the one I suspect you're missing). Full list of cars you can't get in the Autoshow.
Stupid question: are you definitely doing speed TRAPS? There are two different kinds of speed-related PR events and I found I would mix them up all the time. Traps are the ones where you just have to pass a specific point at the highest possible speed, whereas ZONES are the ones where you have to maintain a high speed through a section of twisty road. FWIW I managed to do this one no problem without even realizing it.
Re: Mixer X08 stream. It kinda looks like the Horizon stuff you get from the Mixpot is just a WELCOME TO THE HORIZON FESTIVAL t-shirt. I won't be around to watch it live so this is great for me!

Ohhhhhhhh, it's the Trackhawk then. So vehicles are locked behind progression, I didn't know that. I thought everything was available at the Autoshow.
