Matt Booty being present at X018 isn't too surprising. In fact, we should probably expect it, and we should also expect Phil to take a less visible presence over time after his promotion. He's going to have to be able to rely on other to represent the Xbox platform and Windows gaming.

Yeah, and I was expecting it last E3, but maybe they didn't expect Battleborn to bomb so hard and that really affected their numbers, and thus, what they could afford to put into what Borderlands 3 needs.
As a side note, MS could pay to settle any remaining problem with Sega because of Colonial Marines and that will be seen as a good gesture by Sega maybe helping being open to bringing games?

Mostly PC, and mostly Steam, but they've done bundles which give out EA Origin codes, WiiU codes, 3DS codes, PlayStation codes, and probably others in the past.
Maybe some Humble Bundle for Xbox games? I have no idea, just hoping / guessing here.
With how much he's been promoting that game, he's probably been show some stuff by developers. It wouldn't surprise me. That enthusiasm seems too genuine and based in first hand knowledge.
He said Crackdown 3 would get delayed to 2019 before anyone else, he called the reason it got delayed (because it didn't feel like Crackdown) months before Phil Spencer said it, etc. He said Microsoft would announce Obsidian this year back in June, months before Kotaku reported on it. He said Project Wisdom (a new Fable) was in development by a UK studio that wasn't Rare before Eurogamer confirmed it.
He has sources whether you want to believe it or not.

He was digging around the Xbox Live API, however he knows sources who work on Crackdown 3 which is how he's been giving CD3 info.

He's also a developer so he's probably done some networking and come across information not out there for the public to find.
He's certainly not a spy or an insider at Microsoft leaking information off of documents.
He's a resourceful sleuth that may know a few people, and in respect of Crackdown 3 specifically may have made connections through his public admiration of the game and shared what he seems appropriate with us.
Klobrille has never claimed to be anything other than a person that just knows where to look.
Which makes his accuracy all the more impressive. It's a shame he's not here but I suspect he'll be back after X0.

PS. It's not Windows 10 exclusive. It's released on Steam as well, with cross-play between these two platforms (which is rare situation).

Yes, but related to Crackdown he claimed to have in touch with people of the development team a few times now. On one of his tweets he also claimed to have seen some of the footage about CD3, that's why he is promising that.
Ninja Theory is one of my favorite devs, so if we see their new game at X0, that alone will put the event on the level of E3 for me.
I really hope the KB+M support does indeed bring quality RTS games to Xbox One with "classic" control schemes. Age Of Empires is a must at this point, but if the WarCraft 3 rumor is true that's going to be so glorious, since I assume it'd also mean custom games and cross-play. And that Humble Bundle tease? I'm so in for an Xbox bundle tbh.

Hajime Tabata has been fired from Square Enix (well "resigned" but I doubt he would resign right after he started working on a new IP he was really excited about working on, he was probably pushed out and they let him announce his resignation).

OH hypeSo, a friend of mine noticed this nosing around in Robeyone's (Senior Producer on Age of Empires) followed games on Live, and I just confirmed it (I took the screenshot):
Is this the new name for the game or just a placeholder? New Providence is the city where the game's Campaign takes place, but it seems odd to put it into the title, when everyone already knows it as Crackdown 3.
Edit: he found this too, but once he closed it and tried to reopen it, it was showing PC instead of Xbox One. I couldn't replicate it.

Probably same subscription for both, play anywhere titles overlap, maybe a small increase on the gp fee. It's tied to live after all.
I don't think they are going to add exclusive PC gamepass titles. Anything PC only they want to add they will probably port to Xbox now with the kb/m initiatives. Like AoE and Rise of Nations
