wasn't there a rumor about News on Ninja Theory's first project as a 1st party dev? This could be what Matt Talks about if true along with Obsidian acquisition if that was true as well.

Sekiro, Kingdom Hearts or Devil may Cry could have trailers. They also said they'd show Tomb Raiders dlc, so that's confirmed.
The venue was also used a few months ago for the Halo World Championship 2018 LATAM finals and last year for the Xbox FanFest 2017

I feel like I'm not clear on what "X018" really means here. Fanfest is the main event right? So X018 is just the name they're giving the special episode of Inside Xbox? Or is it a separate event happening within Fanfest that extends beyond just the announcements on Inside Xbox?
Thought maybe we'd get some new third party game announcements but that's still cool.
I mean, we probably will, but it's hard to predict what. Maybe Hitman, Splinter Cell, Rocksteady's new game or Harry Potter.

X018 is just what happens when FanFest and a Inside Xbox Live Show perform a fusion dance.
So we absolutely know that they'll announce the Obsidian acquisition at the show, what the odds that there's a studio beyond that?
You shouldn't be expecting anything that hasn't been announced. That's how you set yourself up for disappointment.

No you we're not able to buy tickets for the event the only 2 ways to gain access was participating on contests that the Xbox Mexico crew made for example:
sending a picture of you with the 3 generations of Xbox consoles and a piece of paper with the hashtag #XboxFanFest to their email account
posting 100% gamerscore on one of their main franchises (Halo, Gears, Forza)
going to a physical place etc that's how the majority of the tickets we're given to fans
The other way like myself was getting invited directly by them (I'm the main Halo content creator of Mexico I have 195k subscribers and I have a strong relationship with them)
they also gave me 8 double tickets to giveaway to my followers
You will be able to play Crackdown 3 Kingdom Hearts 3 Jump Force ID@XBOX games etc there is also going to be a Rainbow Six Siege tournament and many other small tournaments and opportunity's
to win Gold Gamepass codes etc it's a pretty good event and this year is going to be even better this is the third year in a row I will attend
I think the show will be fine but I'm not expecting bombs to be dropped during this. It'll be a nice celebration of Xbox with some nice announcements about already revealed games and a studio acquisition.
What I am curious about is Matt posted about a month ago that the next month was going to be fun for xbox fans. Unless I'm mistaken, nothing has really happened, so I'd imagine whatever he was referring to would be shown at X018. The one thing I appreciate about Matt is he tries to keep people grounded, so he doesn't seem like the type to make baseless claims to elicit excitement. So that part does have me interested in what they'll show.
Still I think it would be best for everyone to keep expectations in check.

I mean, you are right, but the post did say it wouldn't be there so I was wondering if I had missed something confirming that.
My hype has definitely decreased. It sounds like a normal Inside Xbox show with some more surprises than usual.
Nothing has been denied or confirmed in regards to Battletoads.
So there is HOPE. LOL

Yikes. I would not want to see that (30 minutes of Crackdown 3). I would like to see an updated single player trailer, a multiplayer demo and MAYBE (not sure if it would be ready) a demo of Crackdown 3 streaming on xCloud.
That would be 10 min ideally.
Nah, we need a lengthy, in depth look at the multiplayer. It's the main draw for CD3, they have to deliver and what better place to show they've achieved their early promises than with a lengthy demo in the front of the world.
At this point the Obsidian aquisition is heavily rumored to be true but its no sure thing.
Also Turtle Rock was rumored so we may see that as well. Beyond that, who knows? Personally I dont think we'll hear anything as Im guessing something would have leaked by now.

This is a controlled Xbox event. Way tighter than E3. MS even managed to keep their presentation for E32018 quite.
I still say the Obsidian leak was intentional from MS themselves.
