Few of those things are leaks. And if the best announcements they could offer would be some limited free trials (which is something that happens all the time in gaming), they I think they have much bigger problems than these "leaks". The X0 name certainly carries some expectations based on previous events, and the caliber of announcements they had.

Aside from Obsidian there's nothing really big there.

Yes they will be making announcements but at the core of it is an Xbox fan fest, there are going to be panels for ms devs and games for people to play.
Obsidian is the only big thing there. Can't really say the rest of that list would impact the show.
If a show is surviving on some X enhanced games, things might be a bit more dire than we thought.
Also with the PUBG and PES apparently those are just the Free Weekend style free and not truly free. So another one that isn't as big of a deal as it could have been.

A console exclusive going to PC is less important than 3 games that no one is playing getting year late X enhancements, and a limited time free sports game?
If SO coming to PC means the game is getting X enhanced, that's a megaton imo. Give me that and Ninja Gaiden 2 enhanced and we're good.
Regarding Obsidian, if they don't have a game to show it won't have much impact for me. We've seen them show logos of companies at E3, now show us what they're working on.

MS must have really spoiled us at e3 with acquisitions. Obsidian being bought is huge if they confirm at XO. Crackdown gameplay blowout and an acquisition is all I'm gonna expect and everything else is icing on the cake.

While I'm sure that MS will touch on both the X enhancements and Free Play Days at X018, it's also stuff they do throughout the year, I wouldn't exactly call it big news.

Sorry, it was a mix of leaks (Sunset Overdrive, Obsidian) and announcements (ME, PUBG/PES, Darksiders), but the title was too long If I said "All of These Xbox Leaks and Announcements", so I went with "leaks". The same point remains either way.
Some games getting performance patches and a four year old game getting a PC port are leaked megatons? Come on now...
The only possibly worthy of a stage announcement is the Obsidian acquisition. Anything else is just regular day news that goes out through the internet. I mean Sony announced the PS Classic and not even that was an event worthy thing for them. Just threw up a half assed blog post and YouTube video.

Yeah lol, outside of the Sunset Overdrive port (and Obsidian to a lesser extent, but I feel like we've known about that forever), I'd be seriously worried if this stuff was meant to be big for them.
To be fair, if these were supposed to be show stopper announcements, there was nothing to be excited about to begin with.
If games being enhanced & others being offered for free are what you were hoping from XO18, then were you really hyped for it? If anything, these are the appetizers for the "real" announcements. Buying Obsidian is huge, obviously, & here's hoping there's a lot of new game announcements & maybe even a sneak peak at Scarlet.
If these tidbits were planned for X018, I'm really happy that we know in advance. The scheduled runtime is quite long, and I've been debating whether or not I want to watch it live as a result. The more I know ahead of time, the less I feel the need to spend two hours of my Saturday watching.
Correct. I'd also say of the list the only two X018-related announcements would be Obsidian and Sunset Overdrive coming to PC, both of which have been known quantities for awhile now yet will still likely land with decent impact at X0.
When I went to add the titles to my library this morning it seemed they were copies to keep.
Edit: Looked into it a bit further and it looks like there's been conflicting reports from different outlets based on the easily confusing wording.

If this is the extent of the show they should have never have made a show. People here have whipped themselves into a frenzy of multiple new/bought studios, new games, and megatons. I expect a show with slightly more announcements than those listed. Everyone else should be prepared for disappointment if you are looking for megatons.
If all they got was patches and saying they bought a studio, they shouldn´t even hold the event.
That´s stuff you just tweet out on any random day and not hype up their fanbase for.
