This game will deliver new content each month until June or July.

EVERY NEW ADD QUESTS IS FREE IN NOVEMBER FOR EVERYBODY.
*Cap lvl raised from 50 to 70 Mod edit: XP earned since reaching level 50 will be applied retroactively
*New option at the forge to buy an armor item AND choose the design (now you don't have to wear a better equipment with a design you less like
*New LEGENDARY BOSS : Stéropès the cyclops (giving you an exclysive weapon)
*TWO new storylines quests: "The Show Must Go On, about Leonias (you play is life as an actor in theater) (30 October) and Divine Intervention (some quests about divine achievments). (20 November)
*A new boat to fight is here every two weeks to win boat and orichalcum.
*Same as a new mercenary with an exclusive item and orichalcum (when mercenary stuff will be added in November).
*You can custom your controller way of play
*Add an option to auto-craft arrows when you have the requirment.
*Boost XP when bought with real money can be "stopped" during their time limit to be "play" again at any moment now.

Damn I just hit level 49 last night, was hoping to hit the cap soon. I've been playing this game since launch day but due to very limited time these days I haven't been playing much. I'm 50hrs into the game and it's still amaizng. There is so much content but most of it is really fun. I've started skipping side-quests more and more though, lol. No end in sight. This game is incredible.

Well I've cleaned every maps already. I don't see myself reaching the new lv cap before the dlcs drop. With how much content the game has, it's a shame the lv cap wasn't higher at launch. I reached lv 50 when I still had 3/4 of the world to explore.

I had to stop playing this because of Red Dead 2 and Astrobot, hopefully I can go back to it around December.. Because January as it is ... is already packed.

Any xp you earned after you hit the cap will be awarded to you once the level cap is raised. If you've done a ton of stuff since the cap, you might immediately get bumped all the way to 70.

I'm lvl 23 after 30h. Am i slow? Lol and i just did Keph, Megaris, Phokos, Malis, Lokris , and i'm at Eubee now.

Raising the level cap now makes me a bit concerned for the level at which the major dlc will be. Much higher than 50 would require lots of grinding, although I'd imagine ubisoft to offer some kind of level jump when starting the dlc (which I prefer not to do)

Yeah, a little bit, hehe. Have you been accepting the contracts from the quest boards? Not the timed ones but the regular ones that just say contract. They give ridiculous amounts of exp for just doing whatever.

It's interesting they are raising the level cap (and by such a large amount) for this free update. Traditionally games only do that with new paid dlc in a kind of 'hey here's a lot of new content so we are raising your cap' king of way. I wonder what this means for the system once the First Blade dlc hits, if they are going to raise it again or provide some kind of alternate method of progressing your characters.

Darius was the reason I got the season pass with the Spartan Edition.. I'm very very excited for that.

at first yes ^^.
I stopped it. But maybe that's because i play with only Assassin abilities, so it's a MGS (kinda) game for me so it's very punishing (but i also have the heal Aptitude ^^).

Seriously i was amazed with the "Dagger" story. It's like a side BIG quest in the game, on Eubee, like living a new adventure...and doing this don't erase main quest because you also have Kosmos cultist everywhere reminding you they are hunting you.
It's awesome, it's REALLY well written.
It's like those Arcs in One Piece or other manga that may be side arcs on the first side but are linked to this world too.

The problem wasn't the level cap. The problem was the leveling rate. You simply leveled too quickly. They should have reduced the rate by 50%, especially when you consider all the free ability points you can get from tombs.

How are the chances that I will like this when I got bored of Origins after 15 hours? I thought the combat was especially bad and clunky and I didn't like the story and the main character.

I prefer the greek setting/landscape over the egyptian though. I also read a lot that Cassandra is the character to go? I prefer playing male protagonists, but I have no problem with well done female characters (Aloy & Chloe <3 )

Kassandra is best Assassin since Ezio.
She's so strong and you can choose how she can act with everybody.
Don't underestimate the narration of this game, it's the BIG BIG BIG Update from Origins (and from the whole saga). An update so big that it's like the AC1 to AC2 update to me. It's not only about graphism improvment but also narration.
Assassin's creed was often at a low point of narration so now this is big.

For example: many regions have their own side quest story. I'm currently on Eubee and there is a cult named "The Dagger" that terrify people, i need to track them and save people.There is three quests to gather informations about them. At the last one, the Dagger send me a big message, as i was arrived to clear the quest to the couple of artist that gave them to me, The Dagger was here and they didn"t liked that i messed up with them. They told me they killed a woman i saved before, and now i have to choose between one of the parents to save their life. At this moment you can choose to act peacefully or be strong like "Yeah i will choose who will die, and it will be YOU, asshole"!

It's VERY GOOD

I'm lvl23 and overlevelled already because map on the game is upgrading regions lvl i didn't go yet lol

Ok this is great news! I've done all the quests the game had to offer and cleaned every points of interest in the world so if everything is taken into account, I should get a huge amount of xp.

Yeah... when I see how much content I had left when reaching the cap, I cannot imagine how it must have been for people buying the xp boost. It's very clear that the different articles about the xp were not done in good faith or at least not until they had seen enough of the game to make a more objective opinion. The game rewards you with tons of xp for everything you do. As someone said above, taking contracts whenever you get the chance will increase the rate even more.

It doesn't matter if you hit the current cap before the update; any XP you've earned thereafter will be applied retroactively.

I have 10 skill points just sitting there that I never even bothered using because the skills/passive are worthless to me.

I am at the level cap and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Odyssey and actually purchased a season pass for the second time ever (XC 2 was my first season pass and I definitely got my money's worth there) so I am looking forward to the upcoming content.

Lol i completed every storyline of the game last week but i still have at least half of fhe game's content to do.Coming back to this game after i finish RDR2 will probably mean i have hundreds of hours still to play.

I don't mind though i love the game and i will take everything they have to offer.

You can create skill set.
By pressing one touch you can swip to Assassin builld to Warrior build on the go.

you mean as a new feature coming or just the second melee ability wheel

because the second ability wheel isnt anywhere near "another skill set" specially because you cant put different equips saved with it

They didn't complain about leveling being too slow, they complained that main story progression was level gated. If those missions weren't gated and simply scaled to your level, nobody would have complained.

Most of the people who play open-world games aren't completionists. Most of them don't even finish the main story missions. The problem is that level gating the story missions forces these players to do side content and many of them don't want to. It's bizarre to me that people would have that mentality in an open-world game but it is what it is.
