This is great to hear, but genuine question: what realistically can come from this? Would it just be a giant talking point of how the president is probably a fraud or can actual moves be made against him based on what comes out?
Make him House Speaker. Then Trump/Pence gets impeached. Beto becomes president.

Not a whole lot. The Republicans and their base have shown time and time again that they don't care that he's a blatant liar.
No not really. The only thing they'd clamp down on is lying. Trump having huge windfalls of cash coming from foreign entities would not set off any real alarms.
Edit: To expand further, tax returns would not be for looking for anything illegal. It'd be looking for things that show a gigantic conflict of interest between his debts and his role as president.
Dems need to attack. Need to build up the case to support Mueller. Nothing gets passed for two years without complete capitulation to Democrats. No compromises.

I would assume that would be under their investigation since it's pretty broad.

You need the Senate to do that (and make it stick). unfortunately that never happened.
Technically you only need the Senate to confirm the impeachment. A majority in the House can impeach a president.

No you need the senate for conviction. Only the house is needed for impeachment.
Democrats are going to be blamed for EVERYTHING regardless. Who cares? Do some good while they're in there.
Maybe also introduce legislation that makes it mandatory for presidential cantidates to release their tax returns.
