What gameplay times are you getting on a full charge? Worse than the typical 3 hours?

I remember that they mention that it also happens in solo-mode.
2 hours 40 minutes last night. Which is worse than BotW at its worse.
Not asked but I personally played for about an hour and my battery was down to 50%.
I don't agree with their "effectively locked 60fps during normal play". I play a Wizard and their worst case scenario is going to be the norm for me at end game, mob density and spells spamming is not something you can avoid. It still runs ok all thing considered, but we're far from locked 60fps.
Let's drop the size comparison derailment and focus on the actual contents of the video. Thanks.
In my experience, it has been really quite good all things considered. Framerate holds up better than I thought it would, the main thing that sticks out is the dynamic resolution - especially in portable mode I've seen it dropping below 720p a few times - but it's not a huge deal. I'm really happy with it, it's pretty much everything I've been begging for since 2013 in regards to a portable Diablo 3.
Can we please remove the ghastly image from the OP too ? It literally adds nothing to the topic.
I would absolutely get this on Switch if it had cross play or at the least cross save.

I don't get locked on my 3570k, 4690k or 8700k with a 970 or 1070. The game doesn't hold up in big mobs or certain skills being spammed.
I noticed DF avoided the mob stacking which would show that no platform including pc can maintain a locked 60fps.
Maybe next time report it rather than whine for half of the thread.
That aside, it's quite a impressive performance for the switch.

It really is. The lower performance is mitigated by portability in this case. For me at least. Something as mindless as loot grinding works well in bed while watching TV.
This ports seems great, I'm going to get this on a sale or price drop since I've already bought and owned D3 twice. If anything, I am getting it so Blizzard considers supporting Switch more and maybe we even get Overwatch on the system someday. Whether it be a spinoff, the main game, or a fucking Lego game. I'll take what I can get on the little guy.

But sometimes people do forget that the system does have quite a few limitations being priced as a $300 gaming tablet.

The performance of the game and the power of the Switch is what It is. I don't think a justification is needed or useful. If you think the game runs good enough for you and you are interested, buy It. If not, don't. It's as simple as that.

How is it justifying performance to point out what a 10w machine can do vs machines that minimum need 10x as much to do the same job?

What about posting up a pic of just the chipset of the PS4 without the bluray player etc? Wouldn't be that big at all. Also, alot of the "size" of these consoles is just a plastic shell anyway.
Only asked for language packs IIRC. 5GB for a language pack fuck off lol
Diablo III is very nice in portable mode, I love replaying it on the go and in my comfy recliner. I'm never going to play it hooked up to a screen (got a PC for that) so the visual disparity will never be a problem. On the Switch screen the game is very sharp and great looking.

I trust Panic Button and Iron Galaxy when it come to porting games on the Switch. Next up is Panic button with Warframe.
That image reads more like "What do you expect? It's smaller." While the sentiment holds some truth, coming out the gate with the image before the discussion even starts comes off as a tad insecure.
Seems like a decent port. I thought that it was supposed to top out at 960p in docked though? Wasn't that what was announced before?

It's mostly in response to the people who perpetually post in these threads shitting on the compromises these games inevitably require to make it to Switch.
Most of the time yes, but in some really demanding places can goes as slow as ~40fps.
Agreed. They do such a stellar job. Warframe looked fantastic in their stream.
Some of it looks like the PC version on lowest settings though...
I can't watch, but do they discuss the density of enemies? The PS360 versions had lower enemy count for performance which was corrected for PS4/XBO.
Its an excellent port. The thread was never going to be this negative if op didnt decide to rush headfirst into it with their passive aggresive flamesheild.
Even now there are 0 posts shitting on it for not matching up to xb1/ps4.
So yes, pointless justification reeks of insecurities. Nobody is posting giant CPUs with their pricetags in console vs pc threads either.

I really don't need another diablo 3 product I'm my life but this and civ vi are going to be tempting as part of any buy 2 get 1 deals that might happen between now and Christmas.
I don't usually get too deep into threads here anymore because it seems many devolve into petty pissing contests so I can certainly understand that there was probably reason for the preemptive strike. Looking from the outside in though, I can say it certainly paints a specific picture.
And to think portable gaming will only get better and better. I played Tetris on the OG Gameboy back in the day.
