Fantastic list of cars and a new track to boot.

Excited to hear how the Zonda sounds. PD have improved a ton in their sound department but they always suck at shifting sounds/when cars hit the rev limiter.

That NSX and GT-R give me some good feels. I need to reinstall this, and also need to finally give PSVR a try.

Kind of disappointed that the trailer specifically says Grand Prix layout. There's other layouts in Forza and another that skips the crappy chicane at the end like they just did with Fuji.

I can literally do the f1 layout with my eyes closed by now having played it for over a decade in games really.

Shouldn't the Zonda be N1000 like the La Ferrari?

I find the GrX class to be useless. It's just there to accommodate what doesn't fit into the other ones and as a result it totally lacks uniformity and purpose. Sure let's race with cars from the sixties against Zondas and VGT.

Anyway, good to see more Gr2 cars.

Still so so so wish I could have custom menu/in race playlists like the PS3 versions so I could I splice in the RR4 soundtrack. Going from the Objective or Your Vibe in race and then exiting out to Turn the Page or Epilogue was a huge part of the 200+ hours I put in on the PS3.

GrX is lazy and sucks, but it is what it is.

The Pagani isnt road or even really track legal, but I'd put it with the Aston Vulcan which is like N800.

With all the great music tracks in these trailers I wish PD would update the soundtrack in GT Sport.

You can. Custom soundtracks are built into the PS4 OS. I play GTS with the NFS4 soundtrack sometimes.

Hopefully neither game decides to redo all their assets and they both have tons of content.

Pre-ordered and initially put down after a few hours. Picked the game back up a few weeks back and am really happy with both the amount of content that has been added post launch and the amount of attention the game continues to receive. Hype++ for the Zonda R.

i just want a gt with crappy cars. these super cars do nothing for me.

I'd have so much more fun tuning an old volvo 340 than riding a zondo whatever.
THIS.

There's only a few supercars that I care about which is why while I really enjoy Horizon, I don't typically care for Forza games as much. Too much focus on european supercars.

I still play Gran Turismo 6 because what I want is to race a JZX100, RS260 Stagea, Cappuchino, and then some GT300/500 cars.

Besides Porsche I'm not a fan of any of the supercar brands.

You have to be really into cars to enjoy this right? I can't name like a single car other than a Mustang or Prius lol so I'm worried that if I get this it might be too "hardcore" for me.

Nah, it's pretty easy to pick up and play. This game isn't hardcore like some of the PC sim racers. You'll learn the car names by just playing anyway. The whole career mode is to help you learn how to properly race and take corners on these tracks.

Ah yeah but I can't specific different playlists for menus/in-race right?

No, not unless you switch manually between playlists after loading the menu/race.

This is the best game for teaching you how to drive properly. It does a great job of guiding you so it shouldn't be too bad if you do the campaign.

I have to agree with people who say Catalunya is kind of a boring circuit. That infield is just so meh. It's like a bad Fuji.

The Lexus SC430 sounds amazing.

Is this game worth getting for someone only interested in playing in VR?

I've owned a T300 and a Playseat Evolution Alcantara since PSVR launched, but I was put off Gran Turismo because the VR seemed so limited in it.

Content is good, but I was hoping for more side stuff. Livery editor -and UI in general- could really use some QoL changes

Hella excited for the Mini Cooper and Jaguar E-Type. Really liked the old PD love of bringing regular cars to race out on the track, like the Mini Cooper in this case.

I'm not really a big car person, but I enjoy the competitive multiplayer, I even enjoy fighting for 12th on a 14 person grid for the whole race.

Catalunya is damn near flawless in terms of detail and scale. The latter is something very few sims nail.

Love having the Super GT NSX back, now they need to add the 1998/99 era Super GT cars in and I will be very happy!

I did one lap at Catalunya so can't say, however on GTPlanet saw a guy saying with BOP on they are similarly balanced.

Only 'problem' with that era is they're closer to Gr.3 performance levels. A little quicker, but closer to a production based GT, unlike current GT500's which are essentially prototypes.

If cars like the GT-ONE, R390, 911 GT1 & CLK-LM return I'll be interested to see what class they go in. Performance wise they're closer to Gr.2 but aesthetically look like Gr.1.

BTW, saw this on Twitter. Really like the detail PD incorporate into their car models. The 22B is car 000/400, ie, the original road car prototype.

With tBPon they have over 600 BHP as well and lap times do seem to be similar from what I was watching over lunch. The thing with things like Group C and potential GT1 cars is that BOP will be applied to them so they suit the group they are put in.

Might not be the "purest" option (though all the GT500 cars ran pretty aggressive restrictors) but for Sport mode it increases the options available per class.
