Help me out.

Why play rifts instead of adventure mode and get bountys?

I honestly dont know, it feels like I get better rewards when playing for bounties than rifts.

How are cursed bugged?

They don't work 95% if the time. A fresh start usually nets you a few successful uses but then the curses start to effect nothing.

I have seen a post on the Necro subreddit that lead to a bnet post where a number of other people have confirmed there is a problem.

Picked this up yesterday, d3 on a portable is pretty good. Better than I would have thought actually.

Rifts are faster and usually have better map layout (selection?).

The time lost having to go to every "clean level 2 of this dungeon" alone would drive me nuts.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to craft the hellfire amulet. I have all the ingredients and learned the patterns, but the gem shop isn't showing the option to make them. I've only had experience with PC Diablo 3 so not sure how to do it on Switch.

What's the best difficulty to farm bounties on?

Like is there like a minimum you gotta do to possibly get Ancient drops, etc.

Buy the recipes from the girl in Act II town.

So...what's the point of the end game? What's the point of getting really cool loot and gear?

In Diablo 2 it was about PvP. The reason you wanted great gear was to best other players. So what's the hook in this game? To continue to beat increasingly difficult enemies? I'm not trying to be facetious, just wanting to make an informed purchase.

Was Diablo 2 really about PvP? I've played the game for over 15 years and I've barely seen people care about PvP. It was mostly about doing Baal runs over and over to get to the max level and get some loots.

To clear higher level greater rifts, yeah. There is no cap to rift level, they keep going as high as you can beat them. There are leaderboards, etc.

The point is to have fun mowing down demons though. ;-)

In any case, PvP was a pretty niche activity in D2 (like D3). That definitely wasn't the "end game" for the vast majority of players because it was so imbalanced.

I'm just playing casually, working my way through story mode (still act1) and not really caring much for stuff like skills or optimizing shit. Frankly I don't fully get much yet. The enchantress for example... No clue what I do when I train her... Lol.

But mobile play is god damn addicting. Almost missed my stop this morning. the drop in drop out local coop is insanely intuitive. Never seen something as painless. And the temporary scaling is just genius.

Seriously I haven't enjoyed a coop came as much since L4D

Don't forget there is a new challenge rift.
Ah, Necro, I played it so few, I hope it's an easy one.

Edit : OK done, normal build. :)

There's really no point in fretting about sskills etc until you're max level and have them all unlocked. Otherwise just pick what you have fun with. For a season, the Set Armour you can get leans towards certain skills more than others but there are "Sets" that have passive effects that synergize with every skill.

As for Enchantress etc I think every follower can get an Artifact which allows them access to every skill so don't sweat it.

TLDR: Have fun :P

Diablo 2 was running cow level a million times so I could complete all my sets

What's the difference between campaign and adventure? I played two characters in adventure for a while up to level 6 and 12, but when I swapped to campaign it seemed like the same quests and story.
I'd like to level up another character class but am I forced to go through the same content?

That and farming better hellfire torches and anni charms. Too bad there isn't really an equivalent to that. Those moments when you read "Diablo walks this Earth." were HYPE.

Finish the campaign with my Witch doctor on Master. Doing adventure and rift runs and trying to figure out a build. Man do i wish they could of incorporate voice chat in this game or some form of communication. Game feels meaningless to play with a random and you cant talk back to that person, not even say hello. Would be nice if they had touch keyboard feature.

Even an emote wheel with some basic phrases would go a long way.

"Hello!"
"I have keystones"
"Goodbye and thanks for the game!"

I decided to create a seasonal Necromancer...this class is INCREDIBLE! Question though, I'm currently playing through the story mode with my seasonal character; will I still see seasonal benefits in the main campaign, or do I need to play in adventure mode?

You'll need to do Adventure Mode. Some of the seasonal requirements include recipes, bounty caches, etc.

No luck last night with rolls or drops. I legit cube upgraded the same two-handed mace 5 times. The pool is only 10. Frustrating!

Couple of Qs:

1. Is there anyway to jump to a specific GRift level? I'm currently at GR36... and I know I can do much greater than this. I stopped GRifting last night to do Rifts for gear farming. I guess I'm just most interested in getting to GR70.

2. Once GR70 is open and primals are dropping... are they dropping for GRifts only or are they dropping from other sources? Rifts? Bounties? Does difficulty need to be set to a certain level?

I suppose that's a fair point.

Yeah, but wasn't all that to get to PvP? It certainly was in my circle. Eventually the uber stuff came out, but even then, the end of all that was to roll into a PvP game.

That, or just help buddies by rushing their new characters.

I thought curses were just shitty. Good to know.

1. You'll have to do all the intermediate (most often you'll jump 2-3 lvl above the previous one, it depends on your time)

2. Everywhere. Loots, Cube, Kadala (lol, I never got one from her but I guess it's possible).

You can't skip to a higher GR than the highest regular rift you've run. You can run high GR if you've cleared them one at a time, though.

So you can skip right to GR45 if you clear a rift in a T10 game. I believe T13 is equivalent to a GR60-ish? So start a T13 game, clear a rift, and you should be able to run a GR60-something.

Nephalem Rifts are tied to your actual game level. Greater rifts are not.

Thank you, both.

I don't have the game in front of me - so I am a bit blind here. I cannot recall seeing where one could reset their paragon levels. I remember this being an option in PC... but I might be mistaken.

So - is there anyway to reset Paragons? If so, where is that located?
