I can't keep up with all the events and stuff anymore. I log in and I'm like 'why the hell are there Pinsir everywhere?'

Still trying to get to grips with how Adventure Sync works. Does it only sync once a day then?

Slightly awkward but the Pinsir event ended and a Ponyta and Cubone one just started :P

EX raids generally stay the same day of the week 2-3 times in a row, then move on to the next day of the week, rinse repeat

They're currently on Tuesdays, so it might be a while before we get a Saturday EX raid.

Well mine's scheduled for the 14th so I guess I'm getting closer to being able to actually participate.

I have one this week for Wednesday and another batch went out tonight for the following Thursday (although my main gym was eggblocked again :-(

So will be at the weekend in about 5 or 6 weeks (around Christmas)

Look in the news section Pinsar is included in the Tainan safari event post (36 days ago so the last news item visible in mine)

Two of the gyms I raided at this weekend got EX passes, but I only got one of them. Is there a rule that you can only get one pass for each batch or is it just RNG? My entire group got it for the same gym.

You can only get one EX-raid pass per week from Niantic. However you can get invited by a friend to another EX-raid at a different gym.

Ah, I've seen people on FB with 2 invites (before you could share them), but those must've been from consecutive weeks? Or they changed things.

Yes, you can have two invites from consecutive weeks (actually, there was a point where it was possible to have three at once, when Niantic oddly sent two waves of invites for a single day once). An invite sent from an ultra or best friend also appears on the list just like any other invite.

Whoooo! Thanks to the Gengar Day over the weekend, I was able to get my first EX pass! Though, 1pm on a Thursday! Maybe I can move around my classes and duck out for 30-40 minutes.

I don't think I have a problem with it. I do have a problem with them continuing to introduce cool new things to collect without having expanded the storage space.

I also wish there was more being added to collect besides shinies. I also think they need to introduce shiny legendaries at the same time they introduce the regular ones, especially if its a shitty legendary. With the Regis and Giratina, everyone quit doing their raids because they know they'll be re-ran with a shiny chance in the future.

Spent nearly six hours hunting and only got one shiny of each. It's probably still boosted, but not anywhere near to the degree the community day/safari bonus spawns are.

It looks like the shiny rate was boosted when the event started but eventually they lowered it.

I enjoy the collecting aspect of the game more than anything, but shiny hunting is exhausting when not confined to raids or community day.

Honestly the amount of Ponyta around here isn't that far off from normal. One of the most common spawning Pokemon here.

This is pretty wild. I have 2 shiny Cubone and 1 shiny Ponyta already. One of the Cubone is 14/13/11, so I'm evolving that one to Marowak.

I never have this kind of luck during these events. No way that these are regular shiny rates.
