Spidey came out a month earlier, is top 5, full price and outselling an open world action game (more like for like than a racing game). That's more impressive than a heavily bundled, discounted game for me, regardless of which has received more praise.
Yes context, if you want to make this a comparison then sure, both games are bundled, one opened with double the numbers of the other and launched a month earlier, one is selling for full price and the other received a price cut and promotions, yet you are so quick attacking someone trying to give us some info.

FH is actually gaining popularity, FH3 sold over 400k in the UK alone last year, it's one of the strongest racing franchises there.
There isn't a big difference between PS4 and Xbox in the UK, last figure from March was something like 57:43.

Not if I think it's not worthy of actual praise. In this instance I think the tweet isn't a fair comparison within the context.
The tweet would also be unfair if he were comparing ACO and Spiderman's performance, because Spiderman as almost the same advantages over ACO that FH4 has, even more...
